Yes Jack could have gotten on the door with rose! But i guess Cameron felt his death would be more dramatic and for the song my heart will go on. Rose could have rolled to one side and jack could have gotten on. Loved the second class area's you showed us. You see Lighttowler was at the end of the stern section and the ship was so long that he could not have seen the ship break in two.

What I find interesting about Ruth Becker's Testimony is how she said she saw the ship break in half. She said she saw all four of Titanic's massive funnels above water when the super liner ripped herself apart, which in modern animations and almost every animation I could find, and based off of other survivor's testimony, all of them say that Titanic broke up with only the third and fourth funnel above water.

Plus just because he is first officer does not mean he was right about the ship splitting in two! I don't know why people would get that idea. Anyway the ship was too long and the more the bow went down it got too heavy with water to hold up so it split up. Plus how far the ship went down made a difference 2.4 miles!
If I was an engineer I might of tried to escape last moment but mainly so I can tell a version of what happened in the engineers area for others to know of
Daniel Buckley was wearing Mrs Astor's shawl. Leah Ahks met Mr and Mrs Astor on A Deck. Mrs Astor gave Leah her shawl to keep her baby son, Filly warm. Leah and Filly were seperated. Filly was on lifeboat 11 Leah went in lifeboat 13 and gave Daniel, Mrs Astor's shawl.
If i was littke Ava Hart at 7 and I said it broke in too i would be upset people did not believe me. AVA,SAID SHE WATCHED THAT SHIP GO DOWN AND IT SPLIT IN TWO. THEY WERE THERE AND SAW IT HAPPEN BUT THEY BELIEVE ONE MAN BECAUSE HE WAS AN OFFICER! That is crazy as all those people in the lifeboats saw it better than the officer did!

When you were looking over the starboard side was there anybody near you? - Yes, all the engineers and firemen and all that. 5686. All the engineers? - Yes. 5687. Do you mean the Officers? - Yes; the engineers that were on watch. 5688. Then, if I understand it aright, all the engineers had come up too? - They were all at the top. 5689. Did they come up when you came up? - Just afterwards, but some of them went up on the boat deck with me. They came up the ladder just behind me. 5690. When you say they were standing there, where were they standing? - Just against the electric crane aft. 5691. Will you indicate to us on the model where that is? - Yes, just about here. (Pointing on the model.) 5692. On the boat deck? - On the boat deck. 5693. That is the last you saw of them? - That is the last I saw of them.

They both would have died, because too much of their torsos would have been in the water
