There was an actual fire on titanic this evidence was only discovered in recent years and there is a full documentary about it showing you the evidence. However the facts often get misinterpreted people think it caused the sinking but it didn’t, it merely helped to speed it up by weakening one of titanics bulkeads. Xc
I remember being in fourth grade ( I believe this took place in 2017) and hearing people talking about the fire theory. They said an iceberg didn’t cause the sinking, but that only made me mad, I kept insisting to them that the titanic hit an iceberg and sank due to that said iceberg. And then recess ended
1:29 This fiery sketch with the headline "It was not an iceberg!" is from a YT video from the channel "Bright Side", which made several such videos of conspiracy theories. Sam from Historic Travels did several debunk videos on their videos :-)
That so called burn theory is a new one for me. I was really into the titanic growing up and am still fascinated by it today. You said exactly what I would have said. Lol there are literal transcripts from survivors.
The claim that nobody of the survivors mentioned an iceberg but that many mentioned a bunker fire is absurd also for another reason. The bunker fire was deep below in the ship so passenger would not have noticed it, but only some crew like the firemen and stokers. Whereas passengers were playing football (soccer) with some chunks of ice on the well deck shortly after the collision.
Not to mention, there are survivors on film giving interviews who said they saw the iceberg and ice on forward decks. Edith Russell is just one of them.
I honestly got so mad after when my friend showed me this I knew this was false of course there was fire but this does not make any sense Like and about the titanic and its not titanic but her Sister is more dumb for few reasons, they couldnt even have time to change everything and second of all they have different A- deck structure and lastly they have found titanic's hull Number
About the guardian angel theory, even the ships designer, Tomas Andrews, told Captain Smith the Titanic had 1 and a half hours until it sank. But thanks to the coal balancing out the wait, it took 2 and a half hours.
@maverickclark9980 - The coal kept it from capsizing, but it had nothing to do with how long it was gonna take for the ship to sink. Andrews just gave an estimate cause he wasn’t God. How on earth was he supposed to know exactly how long it was gonna take for Titanic to sink? It would have been impossible to know for certain, because he obviously had never been on sinking ship before. 🙄 Seriously!
@@PinkSoldier2009 But capsizing or not has indeed a great influence on the sinking time. If the ship capsizes, it opens up alot more opprtunities to water entering (e.g. open portholes on one side) and thus likely accelerates the sinking. Apart from that, it hinders from lowering lifeboats on that side, caudes early panic and thus even more worsens the situation.
The whole coal bunker fire theory completely negates the fact that 5 compartments ahead of said bunker were breached. Boiler Room 5 is actually the 6th compartment, and wasn't as damaged as the five before it, as it was confined to that coal bunker (until that bulkhead failed and spilled its contents into the boiler room). I am well aware that that coal fire was real, but the factors into how it could have sank the ship I just don't get. For the record, I'm not an expert, just yet another person who is fascinated by the ship, the sinking, the people and the wreckage.
The many “this burn mark in this photo” theories remind me of the “a munchkin hung themselves” theories from the Wizard of Oz. Nope, just a bird wing. Nope, just a smudge on the film.
The "burn area" photo doesn't even prove much else anyway! Based on what I know, that's where the squash court was. Also, it is way above the waterline, making it redundant in proving this whole theory
Hey, I just finished a 11 page essay over the Titanic and how the social classes affected the survival rate of the passengers. Can I see if you can fact check it for mis-information
1496 died and 709 survive 31.6% The percentage of people aboard (passengers and crew) who survived the sinking. 53.4% the total percentage who could have survived, given the number of spaces available on the lifeboats.
Ship fires are still pretty common. I saw somebody on QM2 have the ship catch fire and they put it out minutes later. It's nothing is serious most of the time.
My godmother mentioned the burn theory and she may have thought me a bit rude with the bluntness with which I shut it down because I’m few up of hearing about it. The angel theory is interesting though I imagine in that scenario at least some of the boats would have been launched before it capsized as it would have been obvious earlier how dyer the situation was.
Actually in the video when the guy you were reacting to when he mentioned nobody said anything about an ice berg the people said that BEFORE the ICE BERG hit the ship. But I don't know why he showed fedrick
They all say no one mentioned an iceberg. WELL MAYBE BECAUSE THEY WERE ALL ASLEEP AND THEN CAME UP AFTER FEELING A SHUTTER AND NEBER EVEN SAW AN ICEBERG 😂 these theories just make me boil more than the boiler room boiled on titanic 😂😂
well i believe you but if the fire only weaken the metal in one room how did it sank it only weaken the metal is boiler number 5 and the titanic needs 6 or 5 to sink
I’m glad that you let people see the username of this guy on Tiktok. It makes me so angry that naive people will watch this and blindly believe in it! So sad!
My big brother thinks the fire thing theory and I don't, I think it was the ice berg and I told my big brother so many times that it was an ice ber not a fire but he still doesn't believe me🤦
Did you do enough "research" to reveal the facts surrounding the passenger list containing the financiers that supported the gold standard and as soon as these men were dead (from Titanic's sinking) things were implemented for the Federal Reserve?
Yes, they did an elaborate murder plan that involved sinking the ship and countless innocent passengers losing their lives. Because they knew exactly where it would sink and knew they would have had no way to get on the lifeboats. TOTALLY makes sense. (It doesn’t)
Titanic did have a fire but it weakened the hall so much even ice could make a gash in 5 and a half water tight Compartments and titanic could only stay afloat with 4 completely flooded
I would also say it helped because it had a small port list because they moved coal due to it. And it hit the berg on it's starboard side and had a strong list. Then the D deck door was open and it went back to port.
For TikTok 1 the "burn area" could have actually been there. And what I'm telling you is true. Well the titanic was sinking there was a fire on board. But it did hit an iceburg.
Yes, on the channel Bright Side was a video on several ridiculous theories. Historic Travels channel debunked several of those videos. The most ridiculous (and I don't know why it must be repeated, it doesn't get any truer) is that the ever evil Germans sank Titanic by a torpedo, more than two years before World War One. This is even more disgusting since a German ship, the Frankfurt, corresponded to Titanic several times and tried to help, but was far too distant (about 150 nautical miles, nearly three times the distance of Carpathia).
people just want views that's what it is same thing with jake where people were saying that he was a time traveler and that he was a real person none of that is true it would be confusing and bad for the movie if they put that in there and jack was a part of the love story only a few people in the titanic movie were real people but yeah fire the ship would be into millions of pieces

Ah, and by the way, the iceberg was mentioned in the CQD distress calls, too. "We struck berg" or s.th. like that. Well documented.
Evan Thomas Andrews thought that the ship will capsized in a hour. Thank you for the video, and I hope that Historic Travels will contact you.

The "burn mark" is nowhere near a funnel, thus nowhere near where a boiler nor a boiler room coal bunker would be located.
