    I watched the Sewol documentary and boy did I cry. The poignant scenes were the police officers standing guard outside where the bodies were. The parents would go inside and you could hear their hysterically crying and shouts of “My baby!” Or “ Come back to me!” The police officers were in tears. I cried too.

    Hey titanic guy there is a ship that was called the titanic of The Mississippi River. This ship was the Sultana was a commercial side-wheel steamboat which exploded and sank on the Mississippi River on April 27, 1865, killing 1,168 people in what remains the worst maritime disaster in United States history. Also have you ever heard the ship called the titanic of the great lakes?? Probably already know this but the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. An iron ore ship that was the biggest in the great lakes until its demise in November 10th 1975. She was caring iron or from Duluth Minnesota And she never came back with her crew. She sanked to the bomb of the ocean floor. We still don’t know how she sunk. Thank you for doing what you can do for the Titanic community. I am also a big Titanic history of. Hopefully you see this and read this and make two videos out of this. Thank you Titanic Guy

    The sinking of the MV Doña Paz was the most unforgettable since it happened during Christmas season and everyone on board were either going back to their home provinces to spend the holiday or celebrate with friends. And the label "Asia's Titanic" is something we Filipinos never accepted.

    Thumbnail: “Top 9 worst maritime disasters”
    Also thumbnail: *Oceanos*
    That’s perhaps one of the best maritime disasters due to the fact nobody died and the captain and crew got what they deserved.

      And it wasn't like, the water was frigid. It was the eternally warm, Mediterranean Sea.

    There's many unanswered and strange circumstances around the Estonia ferry disaster, so it's not sure she sank the way you describe in the video (the official way according to the official report from 1997)!

      There was an autumn storm so what do you think is happening when big the waves hit, the bow visor was torn from the ship by the force of the waves and water began to flood the car deck, The ship was fully loaded, and was listing slightly to starboard (to the right looking from the ship in the direction of its travel) because of poor cargo distribution

    • @robertmortimer8288
      @robertmortimer8288 2 года назад +1

      @@HimeCookie There was no storm that night, it was normal bad autumn weather that night with wawes 3-4.5 m in average and the wind was between 16-21 m/s. With other words, it was gale and no storm. According to swedish weather authorities storm definition is when wind is between 24.5 - 32.6 m/s. It's not 100 % sure it was waves, the big unnatural bangs around 1 oclock Estonian time have not been explained yet. Bangs that threw people out of their beds and chairs. Professors is now saying there is indications of explosion at bow visor botto. Further analyses and examinations are needed before any conclusion can be drawn though. Also, there was a dividing wall on cardeck between right and left side, and experts have said the list did not depend on cargo-shifting, because there was no such thing.

      @@Raf_Avila This is the tragedy where the phrase, "Women and children first", was later implemented!!! It's not that, all the women and children were on the stern, for the reason being of the large fatality rate, it was because all the lifeboats were taken, by apathetic men😔…………

    Lusitania, La Bourgogne, Austria, Principe de Asturias, Principessa Mafalda - just a few of SO many other disasters that were WAY worse than Costa Concordia, and ESPECIALLY Oceanos - in which NO ONE died!!! Come on, Raf, do some REAL research!
