I don't even really like a 6, 5 is fine. Unless I had a need for 5 from the turbo. Mine on my dually was badass. 4" dumped at like a 35 degree angle or something, don't remember, lined up well with the fender. 5x18 stainless rolled tip, fit perfect with the fender. But that was a 2wd short bed 03. Bed was nothin but fender, and even at my skinniest my sternum was on the frame without a jack stock. I ain't been too skinny since I was 8, but that was bone on frame. Truck was just about perfect height. Looked mean as all hell, and sounded better than any 7.3 I've ever heard. Straight up like a damn helicopter. Any bigger though, would've been too much. Maybe 6" on a 4wd would look ok. I'd still rather just have the 5, not too big and coffee can looking and a good sound. But I never go over the axle. Dump it. I always liked the look of it anyway, but learning how to do exhaust when I was young, it was just easier. Sounds better, less restrictions, less work. All around better. I guess nobody does it for liability reasons involving insurance... 🤣 My auto tech teacher kinda botched a little on my first one since I didn't at school. Took my welder up there and started learning how to piss people off with my right foot. He thought it would come off and run over it and throw it up into somebody's windshield. Which, is possible. But definitely worth the risk. Wore my old frayed jncos back then and would always catch em on fire whenever I was welding. Classmates would all freak out the first dozen times, then they chilled out and would just come up and tap me on the shoulder and say hey, you're on fire again. Preciate it, put it out, back to it... God, life really sucks now. Probably have the bomb squad out if I did half the shit we did back then, now. Acetylene bombs...
I love your videos on exhausts. Everytime I search a specific exhaust on a vehicle 8/10 your videos come up. But I will never understand why people spend all of that money on a work truck package like the XLT.
Truck sounds excellent. Couple questions... is all the emission shit deleted? Do you have part numbers for the exhaust? Does the gigantic tip change the sound at all?
Just welded a chrome dipped 55 gal barrel on my exhaust tip too!!! Sounds great 🤥
That’s how diesels should sound. My favorite straight piped diesel is a 6.0 Powerstroke, with a 6.7 being at a close 2nd.
That tip looks ridiculous connected to that 4 inch.
Looks ridiculous period
The tip just makes it look bad. Sounds nice though
I would put a 7 inch on it
I wouldn't go with that big of a tip little much. Maybe a 6in

That truck moves though
Truck sounds excellent. Couple questions... is all the emission shit deleted? Do you have part numbers for the exhaust? Does the gigantic tip change the sound at all?
Giant tip definitely does change the sound I had a 6 tip on my 5 straight pipe and went to a 10 and I think it’s louder
But yeah that truck sounds like mine mines fully deleted
I wish I could do that but no way it would pass inspection where I’m at
J.R. W lol there is no inspection where I’m at
Why I don’t trust shops to do my work
where did the exhaust come from?
Sounds great, too big of a tip for me. Maybe a 5 or 6 would have looked better
Super ford 250!! 👌👌👌
WOOOOO! ROAL THAT COAL BABY!
Midnight Dusk you are the reason why modding diesels is basically illegal now...
