People forget that no human is perfect first of all, just like the first commenter said. Secondly, how does someone believe that an actor or actress is the same as the character they portray on-screen? Just because someone portrayed a cruel character in a movie, it doesn’t make them evil in real life. That’s just the role they have been given to play out the storyline or the movie for the viewer’s entertainment. Yes, sometimes, I always get sucked up and engrossed when watching these movies so much that I sometimes almost feel like they are real but I also always like to remind myself that a movie is just a movie and reality is just reality. The character that one plays in a movie isn’t who they are. It’s just roleplaying. People should try to educate themselves because this is what usually causes unnecessary hatred towards these poor people sometimes. That’s why there’s a saying that goes: if the actor played their role in a movie so well that you develop love for them or hatred due to the role they play, then they have done their jobs well…
Some people forgot that acting is a skill,a job and they are human too ...and we can't judge on the book's cover... If they did not break any laws I don't think we should criticise them that much😅
The "we can't judge a book by its cover" is especially true. One of my favourite people is a very sweet looking, posh sounding old actress called Miriam Margolys, lets just say she has lived a very full life and her interviews are absolutely WILD.
People don’t owe other people anything.. just like idols and stars don’t owe their public anything. Flops happen; life happens. Entertainers should stay that: entertainers.
So if an actor says they are “a happy” and “good person” in real life we must believe it but if they are acting like a nice person but someone says they aren’t we have to instantly assume they are, ok?
Woo Do-hwan and V are not friends. Please get your information right. He is friends with Kim Min-jae, they were both in the series called Tempted, he is also close with Lee Sang-yi from Bloodhounds.
Didn't Nam joo-hyuk proved to be innocent? The scandal was huge and he was painted really trashy but the agency admitted some were truth but many false accusations. His agency is even on the process of suing for defamation with his school teacher and classmates support. Honestly, at the time there was many bullying accusations on idols and actors happening at the same time you the point you can call it "trend". Many actors and idols got their careers wrecked but also many proved to be false accusation like Garam of Lesserafim(she got kicked out), Felix of StrayKids (hiatus), soojin (g)idle (leaving the group) the accusation can't be proven in court as so many years has passed but the accusers got caught lying on many points in their posts so she managed to re-debut as solo recovering from the scandal. So all in all it wouldn't be surprising even if Nam Joo-hyuk proven innocent and come back in to the industry
While bullying and harassment of any kind are never acceptable, one of the problems lies with the viewers. Actors are actors! It's their job to portray characters in a believable fashion. Believing that they are just like those characters in real life is completely missing the point! And portraing someone who is the polar opposite of you in real life is so much more fun.
People keep forgetting that these actors and actresses have different lives behind camera, good and bad. So expecting them to be saints is unfair. They're humans too. Korean Netizens are too extreme, they need to calm the F down😒
I can't believe people actually believe that things you did in SCHOOL should affect your ADULT LIFE and CAREER... that just blows my mind. Being an adult and then potentially losing your career/job over what you did as a CHILD?..... how messed up is THAT? so stupid!
I was smitten with Lee Seo Won after that show where he played a band member. He had this baby face that charmed you to believe he is kind. I refused to believe the allegations at first because it seemed so mismatched to the image he had created of himself. It was a rude awakening for me and ever since I have simply desensitized myself from celebrity world. I wonder what he is currently doing. What do the canceled idols and actors do after something this massive?
Bullying scandals are so fucking stupid. I was bullied so much that I had attempted suicide and failed. Not once would I seek out to ruin their lives. People change. Either for better or worse. I would rather watch their downfall not cause it.
This is a Hugh problem especially in Korea, everything a celebrity does that is not in line with the manufacture perception of a personality, is a scandal and people goes nuts, these are human beings with a free will, get a grip.
You people should understand before being famous they are human first 🙌your expectation are ruining them stop it.a lot of family lost their loved ones because of y’ll expectation enough is enough let these idol be them self, being rude or having attitude it depends on how other side did.
Most of these were blown out of portion however .... My staff and I can confirm that the reports about Kim Tae-ri being rude off camera is true. She is one of the most disrespectful celebrities that has ever been to my restaurant. You can tell the true character of a person by how they treat those around them. And their actions, attitudes and behavior toward people that cannot further their careers, etc, especially how they treat people in the service industry.
I wonder if this video came out on the heels of the Taeil scandal, so it could seem more credible and capitalize on netizen’s already waning faith in Korean Celebrities. Just food for thought.
I find this kind of video just proves how the media, which basically this is a form of, perpetuates false spins on people's lives. How actors act in their private lives is their own business. Reporting that people think an actor is the same off screen as their characters is ridiculous and like others have stated then good job to them for knowing their craft. "Victims" coming out suddenly when an actor has hit sucess is shady and reaks of jealousy. I guess you didn't learn from anything after recent events in Korea.
Please do NOT take these stories as "gospel". Having researched many of these so-called scandals and stories about actors and actresses over the years, I've found more often than not that they are FALSE accusations, false stories, many times written simply to get "likes" and subscribers. Also, there are so many people out there who would "create" the scandals just to either get back at the actor or actress or to get recognition for themselves! We are intelligent people, we netizens. We are individuals who can think for ourselves. Just enjoy the performances, let ourselves relax from the world and add a little humor, laughter, romance, just real enjoyment into our lives and leave these celebrities alone to live their lives! I could not imagine having to be "on" 24/7 because I might be seen or might ruin my image or that of the company! How awful to not be able to just go out, get a cup of coffee, or a meal at a favorite restaurant, in just sweatpants, or jeans, or just a regular old t-shirt - and then have to smile ALL THE TIME even if I'm really sad at the moment. How awful! If they truly are doing things that are not right, their careers won't be long lived in this technological age - the TRUTH - will come out on it's own. I watch these shows just to relax and have fun. Thank you to these actors/actresses for giving me this! :)
the hypocrisy in treating male and female actors so differently, like that actress being voted 2nd for that list ONLY because he is not behaving how public wants all women to behave, submissively, never looking up and just say polite yes and no.
wow.... when i saw ma dong seok, i had hoped itd be a "he may look tough and scary, but is actually a sweetheart" type of story. what a shame. but honestly, it doesnt detract from his work, it doesnt stop me from enjoying his performance; ill just not enjoy his persona.
People will be angry with me but whatever. This video only solidifies the reasons why south asian countries are at the bottom of my list for countries to travel to. To judge the actress in the glory for how well she played her role is absolutely disgusting and the actors lee soo hyuk, Kim Jae wook, and woo do wan are excellent actors also to judge someone who hasn’t done anything wrong is extremely disturbing. Not sure what’s going on with SK but to have such great actors be criticized for a ROLE they played is so sad. We will happily take these amazing actors and others not mentioned in America and be happy and support their choices in life. If any one can enlighten me on why they act like this it would be greatly appreciated because I honestly do not understand why Knetizens treat those in the entertainment industry like this.
The comment section is so brainwashed and painfully obsessed with their bias. Everyone is defending their favorite celeb as of they know the crleb in real life. Even people we know in real life can be vastly different from how we have seen them. When we dont fully know ourselves these people think they know their celebs like the back of their hand
People just needs to stop being delusional about actor and actress they a human being with the same proclivities like every human. Stop putting them on pedestal and then be disappointed when they don’t live up to people expectations. What u a see on the movie screen is call acting it not the real person. U don’t know these people personally. Ur just going by what is put out by the agency what goes on behind scenes is a different story.
Yes people make mistakes but as what we always heard in Korea when it come to bullied which can coz of those victims suicide mean the bullies had over limit... Just like what happened to Korean actor get bullied by being black mail causes him to killed himself... That why even it happened in a past still those painful years n moments can be unforgettable for those victims.. N those bullies deserve punishment

So if an actor says they are “a happy” and “good person” in real life we must believe it but if they are acting like a nice person but someone says they aren’t we have to instantly assume they are, ok?
second one was a child, most kids go through a bullying stage
Better to have actors playing bad guys but who are actually good and sweet rather than actors playing good guys but are actually bad guys
Woo Do-hwan and V are not friends. Please get your information right. He is friends with Kim Min-jae, they were both in the series called Tempted, he is also close with Lee Sang-yi from Bloodhounds.
Oooh I didn't know about Do Hyun and Ji Yeon ❤🫰🏾
Just as i thought, 4:01... I have the best taste for men! First time seeing lee soo hyuk in this video, Damn, my eyes just sticks to him!
Stop judging...everyone is two faced in this world
Didn't Nam joo-hyuk proved to be innocent?
In Korea there's not second chance ....it's so sad for the actor and actress.because they are also human who can make mistake...
So Kim Taeri is like the Blake Lively of Korea? 😂
Being an adult and then potentially losing your career/job over what you did as a CHILD?..... how messed up is THAT? so stupid!
It's like people don't know what actors do for a living...
I always loved nam joo hyuk but after jisoo who was his bff im kinda sus about him
Bullying scandals are so fucking stupid.
YOU NEED TO CHECK FACTS NAM WAS WRONGLY ACCUSED AND HAD CLEAR IS NAME AND ALL FAKES CLAIMS.
Heo sung tae that’s all I’m going to say 😂 and don’t do my woo do hwan like that
Another actor is Um Tae Goo.
It’s called ACTING…a good actor should be able to go outside of his personal character!
Lim Ji Yeon and Ji Chang Wook sibling comedy/drama pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeee!
You people should understand before being famous they are human first 🙌your expectation are ruining them stop it.a lot of family lost their loved ones because of y’ll expectation enough is enough let these idol be them self, being rude or having attitude it depends on how other side did.
Two face korean actor ? They are actors, of course they have to be good at acting. The necessary skills are honed as an actor
What is up with the Netizen viewers? -Can they really not differentiate between actors playing a part and what they are in real life.
Seo Ye-ji
Most of these were blown out of portion however .... My staff and I can confirm that the reports about Kim Tae-ri being rude off camera is true. She is one of the most disrespectful celebrities that has ever been to my restaurant. You can tell the true character of a person by how they treat those around them. And their actions, attitudes and behavior toward people that cannot further their careers, etc, especially how they treat people in the service industry.
I don't think Woo Do Hwan and V from BTS are not even friends, let along best friends.
no but why does this voiceover sound like fred lmao
first one was drunk and young, lesson don’t drink so much
the hypocrisy in treating male and female actors so differently, like that actress being voted 2nd for that list ONLY because he is not behaving how public wants all women to behave, submissively, never looking up and just say polite yes and no.
wow.... when i saw ma dong seok, i had hoped itd be a "he may look tough and scary, but is actually a sweetheart" type of story. what a shame. but honestly, it doesnt detract from his work, it doesnt stop me from enjoying his performance; ill just not enjoy his persona.
I bet the fans that shipped Lee Seo Won with his co stars felt like clowns. This is exactly why you shouldn't shipp twi strangers together.
That's plain stupidity. It's a role. Imagine hiring an actor to play villain and they went full on unicorn
I like most of the actors on the list and wish people would understand 5he difference between acting and reality.
No body in the human world is perfect, only the Creator, be a Judgemental , or be as two faces, it’s non of our business , mind your owns business
N those bullies deserve punishment
thats why its call acting😂
You got a point 😂
