Its a break down in the medical system as a whole. Anecdotally, I hear consistently how people have been from DR to DR for various issues and, "they aren't sure" I hear it more and more. And simply, they are stuck in their ways.

Hello my friend :) May I ask, regarding when you were experiencing gastritis, did you link it or relate it to being overly stimulatated/stressed? Or perhaps it was another emotion or habit that you related the gastritis to?

Hello, Thanks for your question. I don't think I related gastritis symptoms to stressful events. People would often ask me that, but I never made a connection of symptoms to stress or overstimulation.
I would sometimes link symptoms to certain foods, but even that didn't make sense. Sometimes a food would trigger me and other times, the same food was fine.
The gut is intricately related to the fight or flight system It's most likely that my ongoing perceptions that were keeping me in low level fight or flight were causing the pain and dysfunction of my gut. Thanks for reaching out!

I got sick months ago with a stomach virus. I was having menopausal smptoms too. The gas is bothering me at night all the time. I tried everything. My doctor tried to help. My cardiologist is still pushing low fat.

Hi, Chronic GI symptoms are a very common TMS/mind-body issue. to the best of your ability, try to take your focus off your belly and simply apply what you're learning here to all areas of life, and allow your GI system to settle back into balance. Outside of some uncommon genetic and medical conditions, we don't need extreme or restrictive diets. Hopefully you're eating a well balanced diet with minimal processed foods.
