Awesome Floor plan.
👍for America 🇺🇸
Love your intro, Matt! ...makes me smile every time I view a video of you and Will. Keep up the great work.
I have to say I absolutely loved this ❤
You didn’t show the slides closed. Can you access the Bathroom/Bedroom with the slides in?
Very, very nice floorplan and decor!
I really like this camper
Add a fourth dislike. The wall in the bedroom with the bathroom is coming off. I question the quality of construction as it is brand new. I do like the closet slide. Usually similar layouts don't have the closet slide.
You must accept that they’re all built like junk, cheap material at premium price. Intech, and Airstream are the best built, but even they cut corners too. So why pay premium prices for the same below standard outcomes? Make it make sense. RV industry needs government regulation, for them to do right by American consumers. That’s why their suffering now, their not selling much.
Hi Matt and Wil! This is a nice fifth wheel for as small as it is. I only have one dislike and that is the bedroom is too tight. My likes are the bathroom the wardrobe and the drawers with it. The dinette. The theater seats across from tv I like the kitchen. Thank you Matt and Wil!
Beautiful Fifth wheel.
Dislikes:
#1 I agree the roof slope would keep me off it. If you aren't going up there you aren't performing maintenance.
#2 Yeah I get the big dinette but I'd rather put the dinette where the theater seats are and make the rear a living area. Not a fan of the rear dinette.
#3 The paisley styled backsplash and tiles were too busy and the color added to the bland interior colors.
Likes:
#1 I like the overall kitchen. Great counter space and prep area. The oven could be a wee bit bigger.
#2 I like the overall bathroom and shower size.
#3 Great interior storage.
Bonus Dislike:
#1 The fabric pull-down shades. It reminds me of the story where the man comes home and says "Look honey what I found in the donation bin. They barely look used." Those kinds of shades look worn and sloppy.
It looks pretty much exactly like a Reflection 150 Series 260RD.
Biggest dislike was the blinds. They just don’t look good.
A bit small and tight. Guess it’s the trade off
Light usually equates to less expensive amenities. Nice price for this 5r.
Once I saw all those cheap plastic clips for the cabinet and drawer catches, I pretty much stopped all my research and closed my windows. Take note keystone.
Please talk about the collapse of VanLeigh.
Colors look good, no carpets, back window with u dinette looks nice. Don’t understand why they put smallish ovens/micro in these, nor do I like loosing bed/bath in travel mode. Backsplash looks way to busy - why, why, why - KISS! Even with a few dislikes, I’m still really looking forward to seeing the 248SLRE.
MERIKA
My dislike may the wall panelling detaching itself from the wall 15:40.
Hey Matt, spec sheet at the beginning of the video said it was $61,882 msrp but then you told us msrp is $70,952??? What’s up with that?
That’s how the RV and car sales business operate. Sticker price says one thing, the finance department says another. New truck had $55k, finance department started with $58k. Great catch. This unit should cost around $26-$36k, not $50k.
Very nice price! I have a question. Why do they make the grey water gallons more than the black? Sometimes my sister and I camp at a lake that doesn't have sewer hook ups. We always have to be concerned about how much we use the toilet. There are dump stations, but my sister doesn't drive her 30' class A. My husband drives the RV to where we are going, and her husband comes in his pickup and my husband rides back home with him. We usually have a car, also, so we can roam the countryside. I guess one of us should learn to drive the RV, huh?
It’s because the grey is for showers dishes hand washing etc. the black is strictly for …. Most people fill grey way before they do the black tank. Maybe look into getting one of those portable totes for the black
i like it short and light with good cargo #s , but i am giving Matt a thumps down @ 4.46 he said it had a one piece TPO roof but @ 4.49 you can see that's not true looks like a seam and leak point every 8 feet and a couple need to be reseal and @ 15.40 the seam tape has delaminated from the wall and that did not get flag from Matt for poor dealer prep
It just looks like poor roof construction and membrane glue job to me.
GVWR is 10,240 lbs. Dry weight 7630 lbs + CCC 2610 lbs. So pin weight would be closer to 2000#’s , not the 1440 lbs of a dry weight camper. No One travels in an empty camper. Not sure why RV salesmen keep giving dry weights? Hopefully you are not selling them that way. Not sure when 5 tons of camper (not including 2 1/2 tons of tow vehicle) cruising down the highway became “super light”. Maybe when compared to those behemoth campers on the road today. Arcadia advertises this as Half Ton Towable. To stay within recommended 75% of cargo/towing capacity the owner would need a truck that has max towing capacity of at least 13,500 lbs and cargo capacity of 3535 lbs. (2000 pin + 350 passengers+ 200 hitch +100 junk in truck = 2650#’s cargo). Also, when doing these videos the slide outs should be closed at some point. This one appears on Arcadia’s website like it would block the stairs to bedroom and bathroom. Not good if you just wanted to use the bathroom at a rest stop or stopped for the night in a rest area where slide-outs can not be used.
LIKE THE KITCHEN THE U SHAPE DINETTE THE MASTER QUEEN SIZE BED 🛌 THE BATHROOM QUEEN BED RULES DON’T LIKE NO SIX POINT ELECTRIC LEVELING THE WINDOW BLINDS
My rating: (Looks/Functionality)
97/100
Likes: EVERYTHING
1. no vents in the floor
2. super spacious / storage magnet
3. simple control panel / not flimsy wood FOR BED AND CUPBOARDS
Dislikes:
1. bedroom step (but minor dislike)
2. Auto level buttons (super minor dislike)
3. such a small microwave (minor dislike)
0-60 Don't buy.
61-80 Considering my options

91-95 Strong contender to buy
96-98 Must buy
99-100 One of The Best
**My opinion
The wall in the bedroom behind Matt is atrocious. The fit and finish on this is junk. It looks cheap. The blinds may look good down but they are a hot mess pushed up. The roof didn’t look good either.
The positives are the weight and I like the side tables and wardrobe in the bedroom.
This is a hard pass. You guys did a great job showing it though :)
Trust, if I had the money and resources, I’d become the Tesla of RVs. I would simply build a better product, which is more than any of these brands can say. We can put a man on the moon, but can’t figure out how to 99% insulate 2” walls from freezing temps, double pain windows, or built in humidifier for guaranteed moisture issues.🤦🏾♂️
Furniture looks cheap. TV is so far from recliners. Your phone in your lap is larger, or an iPad. Hold your phone out and it will cover the TV.
Colors are nice and light.
NOBODY
Looks cheap
The roof looks unfinished, you can see every joint. They are still throwing these thing together, and none of them have great insulation, to stop the walls from freezing. The MSRP price versus sale price is very disingenuous. There campers are totally overpriced from the factory, so you’re only getting an illusion of a deal. Highway robbery of hard working/retired Americans money.
