• Album - The Cinematic ...
We're back! After 7 years since our last collaboration @Nirre and I have come to present another song, this time with a cyberpunk twist. Cities in the Distance is about hope in the confines of one of Earth's last cities, where life seems so bleak and unchanging. The song dreams of the cities some say lie outside the known places, where freedom lies and escape can be found. The whole album is full of similar cyberpunk goodness as well, and will be arriving along with this song to Spotify in 1-5 days or so.

Lyrics:
The rain pours longer every night
The neon glows a lullaby
And it's haunted
Haunted with our pride
Corruption intertwined with greed
Performing interchangeably
But I wanted
I wanted to be free
A system of the absolutes
Distract to keep the people mute
And we'll all move along
But somewhere it's a different show
The re-ignition starts to glow
Far away now
They sing a brand new song
Now from the shadows
I can see their light
The lone stars shine
On the world's last night
Trapped in the veil
I've only heard their cries
The cities chanting
Their last reprise
Subsections of an institute
The work of bureaucratic brutes
They're trying
Trying to save face
But citizens of darker times
Have learned to question better lies
While they're running
Running out of space
But maybe there's one last resort
When our resources come up short
A light on the horizon shines alone
The cities in the distance live
With sanctuary left to give
Resistance soon ignites into a glow
Raise
Your hands upwards in praise
Not of the gods but rather
The human cause undying
The fear
Has held us back for years
We sold our hearts for nothing
We wasted our own time
At fault
With eyes on you all
They kept us scared and silent
And desperate to survive
The light
Grows closer every night
So we will sate our hunger
And know the world revived - Видеоклипы
“But citizens of darker times, have learned to question better lies.” Thats a great line. Love the song!
Couldn't've said it better myself!

Gen z (which includes me unfortunately) "No I don't think nuclear war is happening because thats just stupid"
Every generation before that were living through the cold war:
@@SG-fm9wd every generation thinks that, its an unimaginable horror so its almost logical to think nobody would start it.
theres always this nostalgic feeling tugging at me whenever i listen to an aviators song, something comforting, even when everything else in my life falls apart
Right? I get the same feeling whenever I listen to them.
80's nostalgia?
Ikr, i have had my fair share of shit days and i know the feeling. By the way
Anyone got any tips on how to perform faster? Its lately been bugging me and it puts my future in danger. I never understood why people want to be weird, i get called weird and theres nothing great about it.
I miss my ex boyfriend. We would listen to Aviators together all the time.
same, i some what feel less stress out when i listen to his music
"Neon glows a lullaby, and its haunted"
Maybe it glows a sonata, not a lullaby?
Екатерина Серенкова I see what you did there
I feel like "sonata" wouldn't flow as well though
@@knowdudegamingshow2962 no it wouldn't, but it is a pretty good reference to avi's neon sonata
You ever think in the future their gonna find this song and think that we were gods of melodies.
/looks back on Psalms/ - no I don't think they will without the recording
Fun fact: When I made an 80's style neon wallpaper, Aviators was such a huge influence for me. I love this guy!
"The cities in the distance live
With sanctuary left to give
Resistance soon ignites into a glow"
I love how your songs reference your other songs.
I know, right? I kept hearing about how good Glow was so I went and listened to it. Within a few seconds I was already hooked.
Investing in Aviators around 2016 was the best thing I did randomly...❤️🔥
So this is the song that starts to play at the end of “Ghosts of our Fathers” on RUclips. When I first got to that part of it it reminded me strongly of “Console Killer” from Howling at the Moon for some reason, but I don’t really get that impression now, or at least not as strongly.
Slasher would feel right at home on HATM.
Outrun 2019 all the way. My childhood right there.
Its u c:
You, Glaze and Avi were my childhood in 2013
Idk dude u might wanna go back 2020s been pretty shit so far :^(

@@urbanarmy3874 yeah 2020 is trash
So good to hear you and Nirre collaborating again after all these years!
The first song I ever heard from you was One Last Letter back in January 2012, and it's amazing to see how far both of you have come since that first collab.
I absolutely LOVE hearing his guitars on your songs, and on one of my favorite genres, no less. Hope you two work again soon in the near "cinematic" future!
I woke up this morning and IMMEDIATELY put in my headphones and listened to this album. Literally a perfect way to start the day :>
His songs make me feel hypnotized, I loved them. My mind stops wondering and it feels relaxed. ❤❤❤
I almost feel like this is a subplot to the Godhunter series. Reason being is because in that, Miami was a city in a post apocalyptic world. While the Godhunter, Traveler, and Rouge try to take down the Eldritch, I wonder if a group left Miami in search of their own future. Kinda got a Metro Exodus vibe following this logic. Gonna go search for a new home and all.
Seems more like it’s during the Apocalypse, when all consumerist lies came crashing down. Of course if my guess about the timeline is right, the narrator’s headed straight into Bleeding Suns, so impressive city, NOT an attractive haven, unfortunately
@@count487 Seems like a description of the modern urban world too lol
i think godhunter is actually in medieval times because well, the song godhunter is about someone killing kings i think
It’s set during a post apocalypse where following a nuclear war several immortals seized control of Miami and possibly elsewhere. They claimed they were gods and their leader crowned himself King
I hate that I'm a grammar Nazi about simple mistakes, but did you mean Rogue, not Rouge? I only noticed because it's a common mistake in the Sonic the Hedgehog fanbase.
Good description nonetheless.
My best friend introduced me to this song a long time ago, and I can't thank him enough for it. Now, I have driving music.
Doctor: you have 7 minutes to live
Me: *plays this*
Also can I say as a underrated musician, you really know how to tell a story within a song! It feels like reading a musical book (not like that's a bad thing). I love getting a mental picture in my head every time I hear your songs! Love the new album! Especially Gunning For A Promotion!
Lol I feel the same way
An album could be considered a musical novel.
I feel like I'm listening to this song incorrectly if it's not while driving down a neon highway at night.
The beats of this song make me think this would be an amazing BeatSaber track.
Sad that there don't seem to be any Aviators songs in Cyberpunk. HUGE missed opportunity right there. Cities In The Distance and Glow would be absolutely perfect
I'm loving the new mixing style, as I said in other songs it adds so much to the song that would have been lost otherwise. I think this adds so much to the album and I really like how it turned out. I hope you use this style of mixing and mastering more often because it's really good!
Among all the songs you've made this one hits me different for some reason. I don't know why but it feels more like reading a book than listening a song. Lyrics are definitely caring a sad story, both hyping and depressing. Always will be my favorite.
03:27 gets me everytime
How much emotion will you put in a single song?
Aviators: yes
me when a new aviators song is out: this is were the fun begins
Our Boi Avi here putting the final touches on the OST for Cyberpunk 2077.
What an amazing opener to TCF, this goes hard. The fact that you two haven't collaborated in about 7 years is insane
This song makes me sleepy but a good vibing way. look it's 11:25 PM I'm tired and I like this song ok. And this is going into my song playlist
Genuinely my favorite song I have ever listened to “glow” is a close second
Wow!!!..Just found the Aviators....Well impressed...
It amazes me how all of your songs have a story (even console killer which is just instrumental/synth lol) and how all of them tell it so well that i can build a little universe out of it in my head.
And the whole while it does it all while being some of the best music iv ever heard in my opinion
so glad your work is on Spotify so it could get put in my weekly mix or im not sure id ever found any of this incredible music
I can't explain the feeling I get listening to this song; it fits perfectly well with the story you're telling, the production is INSANE, and Nirre did amazing! That synth/guitar solo towards the bridge blew me away and had me going "OH YEAH" in the middle of my theatre class.
You've done it once again, Aviators. Awesome work.
Love listening to them at work.
5 seconds in, the beat grabs your attention and then the lryics flow in at a perfect time cleanly.
Another great song and im only a minute in. Truly another master piece!
I never in my life thought 80's synthwave and rock could fit so well together
very similar vibes to some of celldwellers stuff. I like it a lot.
Aviators. I love your music so much. This one is another piece of perfection from you that I'll be listening to for a while. Thank God for you and your music.
A few seconds in and I love it! The animation in the beginning is stunning and the vocals sound like a dream!
This album is absolutely glorious, there is not a track here that I do not like. You have absolutely outdone yourself with this one, Avi. Thank you. 💕
It's fire, Avi. Always love to hear your synth rock and industrial stuff, especially.
I remember the hype from the premiere stream last night, love this one and love the guitars nirre lent in, an epic song you two!
one of my favorite songs
Dang this song strikes close to home! I have hairs standing up on end!
This is so Awesome! I LOVED RETRO STYLE!👏🤩
Oh fuck this is hitting closer and close to home every year
Listening to this while skimming through the beautiful pictures of Mercedes w221 S-class vip style mods. Man! What a perfect match!
I recently found you and listened to all your Soulsborne songs in like a day, but I am almost equally blown away from all your other work. Thank you so much for creating such amazing music that scratches an itch I didn’t know I had. Spoilers for Castlevania on Netflix
If you are interested in making it, I would love if you made a song about Castlevania. Something like “No one will save you” but about the confrontation in the church between the Demon and the Priest. I feel like that atmosphere fits your style perfectly! Thank you for reading and I eargerly await your future uploads, whatever they might be!
hello fellow chosen undead may we cross paths in these dark times and prase the sun \[T]/
5 seconds in and im already bangin', god damn it i love your music
Love this song. This is probably the 100th time I've listened to it.
So amazing... I love this song!!!
Yooo immediately with the sick beat as soon as the video starts!
"A system of the absolutes,
distract to keep the people mute."
Based and Metro-pilled.
you know a song is this good when a guitar solo is in it
More than one year after this, I can confidently say that it's my new favourite song of yours. I've come back to this hundreds of times out of the blue, just because I can't live without that chorus.
Same here but it’s my favorite song I’ve ever heard
There's Nothing better then Listening to A good album,
And really, this such a Masterfully Crafted Album, telling the story of a "Cinematic Future". I first found you back in 2016, I've been subbed a long time, and I'd say, Every Song you have Produced and Released is so rich, I really Enjoy all the work you put into these Songs.
Extremely Talented, you really are.
I'll be here listening,
Keep on truckin.
I see how you seem to be on board with current events. Neon sonata is my all times favourite, and listening to your songs made it almost impossible to listen to most songs out there. I am glad i found your channel.
I've actually heard portion of this on my first stream watch of you. Yet didnt take away any of the beauty. Thank you for sharing this with us. You truly are amazing artist
Played on Spotify by a mistake.
Best mistake I ever made.
This pleases me greatly. Take this W and Like.
oh wow, I really like this one
Yet again, You deliver epic music! I love this song and the new album.
your music is always a joy to listen to, thanks for all you do
Anyone else think this song is the perspective of someone seeing the city from "Glow"
Aviators, you never cease to amaze me with your music! I am still in the DIY stage with my stuff. I hope to get practicing my piano soon. I hope to be a complete DIY musician in sound synthesis. I do plan on playing guitar as well, but primarily sound synthesis. Your a big inspiration in my work though. I have to admit that. Keep up the good work!
This song slaps
TheEMC it does
Brendan Stump Well, the album was released on Bandcamp at midnight.
Absolutely love it. Amazing job, as always.
What A Song!! only heard half of it when I wrote.... should have learned by now that you allways have more in store.... Glad to be back to Your Music.. And the lyrics...Like reading a book.. I have to practice a few times to sing along with you Take Care! Lena
Neon Genesis Aviators: Thesis of Cruel Cities in Distance.
...Yes
Glad youre still making music dude. I remember finding you back when you focused primarily on MLP songs. Music's definitley evolved and im loving it.
Came home from a 24 hour shift and this is what made my day. Thank you.
Just love it!! Was there for the live stream too
Fuck this gives me a good anti-greed and maybe anarchist vibe, love it.
I really love the graphics Aviators! It's like were going back in the 1980s.
A new song to kick off my day? Hell yeah!
This song reminds me of my plotline, which relates to humanity losing faith in God, and demons filling earth to some extent, with God sending his forces to purge earth.
You mean like real life?
So Shin Megami Tensei
That guitar solo was so freaking smooth. This song is so freaking good! Fantastic work as usual Aviators.
Are we going to the Stargazers city in this visualizer?
Brilliant melody and vocals!..
Another beautiful peace of art from one of my favorite artists (and credit to Nirre too)! Correct me if I’m wrong, but it feels like you have a ‘message’, message being either to us, or an underplaying theme, etc., before you know what style of music you want to do for it. That would explain the comparable variety of types of music.
Either way, I’m loving all this! I can’t wait to have the money to actually buy your albums, because they’re certainly worth it.
I can say that I hear your and miracleofsound's voices more than I hear any other human's voice all the day.

So I bought the full album and have been listening to it. That's some freaking good stuff, man!👌👌
this SLAPS as a vibe for Shadowrun tbh. Also just in general. Your songs slap. keep up the amazing work
10/10, would listen to again
So beautiful! 🌸✨
I love this song!!!
❤❤❤❤
Im falling for this synth vibe your laying off
So, sadly I had to miss the release stream for the album because I had to be up at 3 AM to go to work. However, having listened to it now, it's amazing! Especially this. I love the synth rock style, and you're so good at it. This song also has the slightly eccentric style that seems to be present throughout the whole album. All in all, it's amazing, and really fun to listen to. And it's wrapped in that signature Aviators style. As always, I hope everyone reading this has a great day! :)
Hey are you gonna add a Warframe themed song in the future by chance? Felt like asking.
I'd love to see Aviators make a song based off of Warframe
@@lordironskull4159 hecc yea
Well, he knows those exist. He had reply on TheMiracleOfSounds waframe song, and I think he mentioned he could make one too
Why is your music so good, and yet not nearly well enough known.
this is truth
This is absolutely great.
ohhh this was amazing! looking forward to the new album and keep up the good work :)
The timing of this song is.....eerie....
I've been impatiently waiting on this one since that little teaser and OH MAN, OH MAN, time to listen to it on loop for the next month 👌
This is so awesome, man. I love your music
Beautiful!!❤️❤️❤️
A stunning intro to The Cinematic Future.
Can’t wait for the album to go in my Apple Library
Perfectttt
Sound amazing like always!!
You really motivate me to write sir!
I've never had much time for writing, but I've found his music to be good inspiration in making head-canon for my game characters.
Great stuff as always!
Awwwwww Yeeeaaaaah!
