    Thank you Don for such a thorough tutorial! We have the same bedroom/Bathroom set up.. question why leave a space above the header could you have gone a little higher and not left too much open space just wondering?

      I have the same question. We are installing one today and have an empty space above the header/door. I think we might buy a really wide header to cover that space.

    Double door install: What if the wall going from one side of the opening sticks out more then the other side making the support beam not flat on both sides?

    what type 'nut product' did you use( in the header ) to receive the rail bolt onto/into the header?

    Why put in a door n leave a foot of open space above the door? Are you going to build a header?
