❤️❤️❤️ Madonna ❤️❤️❤️
has it already been 30-40 years since the 80's, makes me feel so old.
31 to 30 years ago is technically in the 90s so feel even older
@@poolkennedy7611😂😂😂
@@poolkennedy76111986 was 37 years ago..period . Just depends on your point of view.
Right? When MTV played music...top 20 countdown
Michael Jackson the one and only greatest singer, dancer and entertainer of all time.
He is the king of music and dance. Rip King 👑
Your favorite maybe, but greatest is subjective.
I feel so nostalgic about OG MTV, but I wasn’t even born yet 😭
Michael Jackson...The best...forever. 💕❤️
I loved MTV! Thanks for the memories.✌️❤️🎼
This video needed to be longer.. Loved how they remembered and analyze the era...
Michael Jackson
Man I had a huge crush on Martha Quinn back in the day! 😍 She was definitely a cutie and she still looks great today! 👌🏾
Michael Jackson 💙
duran duran- the wild boys ,the best 80s video ever
It's way up there
I met Alan Hunter at LAX back in 89' after arriving from Austin Texas. The crazy part was before leaving Austin I met Stevie Ray Vaughan and his brother in the airport terminal on there way back to LA to check out a new studio they were considering and Steve autographed a shirt for me I bought at the airport gift shop. When I ran into Alan I thought I new him from high school then I realized recognized him from Mtv I asked him to autograph my shirt as well a long with Steve Ray and he felt he was not worthy I immediately reassured him with, "you're one of the Original VJ's...!!! He autographed the shirt and I still have it till this day. It's very possible I'm the one that coined the phrase "Original VJ" that day Sam I am ; D
Michael Jackson ❤️❤️❤️
Can you do a part two of this video ,I love it!
I so enjoyed seeing you guys I so miss you guys so much of the attitude and Ambience of the 80s it just was something to be held
80's had the best ALL these artists are LEGENDS
Love ❤️ Cindy,Madonna!
Both ladies are amazing indeed!
My mom teased me for being smitten with Martha Quinn. My brother the metalhead was more the Nina Blackwood type.
Duran Duran, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Cyndi Lauper, Prince, and Michael Jackson💎💎💎. I was a young boy at the start of the decade (4 years old), so I had a SOLID admiration for the above artists.
Nobody mentioned "Sledgehammer" or Dire Straights "I Want My MTV" videos which were stupendous.
Madonna ❤️
Wow, this brought back such nostalgia it is almost painful feeling all that i was and experiencing at 17, 18, 19 and 20 years old. A lifetime ago but MTV was such a big part of the flavor of that time.
It's been over 40 years and I still have a huge crush on Martha Quinn ❤😊
I had no idea "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" was a remake! Wow!
Me neither! Nor that Hans Zimmer was in the Buggles!
It’s depressing seeing these VJs now and remembering what they were like in their prime.
MTV is now reality garbage and western civilization continues hurtling towards its inevitable collapse.
Well that escalated quickly
We begged our parents for cable so we could get MTV when it first started. This was a huge part of my childhood and teen yrs!
I Love Martha Quinn and Nina Blackwood
OMG that's so funny about the Hungry Like the Wolf video, that Simon wore the fedora to cover up a bad dye job. Soon after the video's debut, we Duranies started to wear Fedoras en masse, as a collective fashion statement. To this day, I never go anywhere without my red Fedora--especially when my own dye job is in dire need of freshening!
Ok, loved seeing all the original MTV VJs reacting to popular videos from MTV glory days but sad to see the shortest comments were about Duran Duran who were the king of music videos back then. Them and Michael Jackson, but Duran Duran were the first ones making huge popular videos.
Madonna became "the most successful female soloist of all time" ☆ ♡ .
Beyoncé 😳
@@darinsmith3791Beyonce doesn't even come close. Lol. You have no idea. Seriously.
When music was art (a-ha) and political (Prince). I miss those message songs. This video is topically cool. Thanks to the DJs. Make more...please.
Very interesting video guys! I adore the 80's but hate that people usually react to Madonna's Like a Virgin in the first place. I love this song but she had soooo many better hits in the 80's - La Isla Bonita, Live to Tell, Like a Prayer, Papa Don't Preach, Open Your Heart, Crazy For You, Oh Father.....to name a few
What about "Into the Groove" ?
I remember it all! Graduated high school in 1983, joined the Army, was assigned to Germany for 18 months, had a blast then on to Ft. Campbell, Ky and more chicks and fun..seems ladies love us Infantrymen, lol.
Love this one
thanks for sharing

Can't forget Colin Quinn, Nina Blackwood or JJ Jackson, too!
Michael Jackson’s made sure that MTV called him the King of Pop when they mentioned him
Thnk God they mentioned PRINCE 💜!!! Luv all these first ever videos I'm a True True 80's girl (Tina they 4 got ASIA!!!!
I remember seeing a video on MTV by The Alan Parsons Project called "Don't Answer Me" that blew my mind 💥
Luv 80s
MTVが音楽を「聴くもの」から「見るもの」に流れを変えました。でも、いつまでも愛されるのは人間性ですよね。Cyndi 💕
I was tuned in when the Thriller video first aired on MTV. As I remember it, the full video was something like 15 - 30 minutes long?
YES! 😎
Cyndi😍😍😍
MTV Music Television, Classic TV,no Commercials
What happend to MTV? Used to be a great channel
Born in 1973, admired MTV since 1984, became sad when MTV(eventually VH1 too) stopped showing music videos. I'm longing for my MTV. But I know it'll never be the same as the years progresses. I don't like the mindless drivel they're airing now (save for Wild'n Out and Ridiculousness).
All dead now: Prince, Whitney, Michael, Eddie Van Halen, Buggles Jones...
Thank you Cyndi.
Cyndi 😘😘😘😘❤❤❤
My band" will always shine" DURAN DURAN
Prince is better today than yesterday 😂
Prince & Madonna are the 🐐’s
MJ was the biggest artist of the 80s though
@@johnsonmark65 he was I just found the other two more interesting as artists
💌
Martha Quinn is still pretty!
Funny how everyone seems to have forgotten everybody has bombs, while instead being overly distracted and concerned about COVID.
Madonna ❤️🇧🇷
Madonna is legendary.
Their voices still sound the same, but they have noticeably aged.
Yeah, thats obvious. And expected. We ALL AGE, if your lucky enough to keep living, a very handsome 24 year old guy died in our ICU 2 days ago from a car accident....I'm sure he would have preferred to grow old, than die young.
Dionne.was.Whitney's.Cousin.
Geez 😒…A lot of these artists are dead 💀 now. Whitney, Prince, Eddie VH, MJ… 😢
Those music videos before mj was trash for real
Why are you giving the face of RACISM in the 80s a platform? Every time I see these tools … I just am reminded how racist America was (is) …. Thank you David Bowie for calling it out …. But as a young 13 yo blk kid in a predominantly white town.. I did not have positive memories of early MTV …
