I went to Kingston when I was 17 years old . I was with my friend who her father was from Jamaïca. It was Christmas at that time. We ate a Christmas cake that takes 6 months to make with a lot of fruits and alcohol. I really want to have the recipe because the cake was so delicious ! Is there someone who knows this fermented cake?? Please!!
Only thing I did not like was the fruit parts you should of show us how to set up the fruits separately so that when we making the cake you will Say you need 2 cups of fruit or whatever

Lots of unnecessary steps, should have blend the rum in with the fruits amoung others. Also missing some steps.
I soaked the fruits in rum and red wine. Works out to the same amount of time. Thanks for the comment
