I am saving this video!!!!! Praise God I'm telling you this is exactly what my mother had me help her do in the kitchen back in the day. I've no idea how I'm going to source all the correct ingredients where I live, and how I expect to make this with less than 2 weeks til Christmas, but I'm going to do it!!! Thank you 🙏🏿💪🏿👍🏿
Your mom thought you good. And you are teaching the young lady in such a beautiful way. Thank you. Merry Christmas.
Lord bless this man and his family. They gifted. I nearly in tears here watching this cake....
🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹 Mr Creamy teaches the right way to make Christmas cake. The oral tradition is utilized and the culture lives on through this man.
Hats off to Mr Creamy, mrs creamy and daughter creamy.
"The texture matter!"

I'm from Curaçao and we used to bake this only for very special occasions.
It's a very expensive cake.
The only difference is that we don't boil the fruits but we cure them in liquor for 6 weeks or more.
It's so delicious.
I'm from Trinidad, I don't boil either. Most people don't.
As he said in the video, the usual method is soaking the fruits, but this is shortcut way when you haven't had time to soak it. Can't even tell the difference if done right.
My parents are Guyanese, and we make this cake for weddings and Christmas. There are some differences between our cake and the Trini black cakes though, mainly the spices used.
Stumbled on this while looking for improvements to my cake. This is like gold. Thank you Mr and Mrs Creamy!
Thank you, Mr. Creamy. I learned some more tips for my fruit cake. I live in Panama. Giving honor to my Jamaican grandmother.
Although I am no stranger to preparing black cake during the holidays to enjoy and also 4 sale, I am impressed with the rum infusion … that is definitely something that I will incorporate into my regimen! Tanks MR. Creamy!!! 🇦🇬
This is all beautiful. Hope that it's copyrighted cud I don't wanna see other ppl claiming it's their idea. Proud proud Trini. ❤
Excellent Presentation by the Host of how to make Christmas Black Cake. The most interesting part was the preparation of the ingredients and his skillful explanation of how everything comes together. The final product is outstanding in looks and I'm sure in taste as well. Great Job Sir. Happy Holidays.
I have an extra bottle of rum, I'll be adding the spices to it. I have 2 weeks till Christmas for the rum to absorb so i can pour on the top of my cakes. Thank you Mr. Creamy, I have not seen any other baker do that.
Am from grenada 🇬🇩 so I get all my Tonka bean, cinnamon ,cinnamon leaf, nutmeg all the grenadian spices your cake must be tasty. Teach her the business
I've watched this video and the ponche de Crème one and they are excellent! Every step well explained and something new to learn. Now I know how spiced rum is made! The bond between you and your daughter is everything. Lovely family business. Many blessings to your family and business. Hope you have a lovely Christmas 🎄
Like how you explained all the various steps...also the little girl seems a quick learner...much to be admired. Thankyou for teaching and stay safe.
Good night 🌃, I've never used this method before in making black cake 🎂, I love how you incorporated all the spices into the alcohol, the water that you used in the oven, waw I must try it, only thing I would have liked to see you test the cake to know that it's ready. Beautiful demo, love all the tips, and your wife were cleaning along the way, nice.

He making a lot of extra work! I usually crack my eggs in a bowl, and the zest and blend them to a light fluffy consistency. I then add the blended eggs to the butter-sugar cream mixture little bit by little bit at a time.
Maybe he gets eggs from free range chickens where roosters may have fertilized the eggs and he does not want the embryos to ruin it.

Very good explanation i wish I could taste it
I’m just waiting in a wedding cake ( fruit cake) coming out of the oven, it’s got two hours to go and I’m sitting scrolling RUclips and up comes your wonderful Black Cake which I’ve only heard of but never seen or tasted. I’m hooked and definitely going to try next year. I’ve just sourced Tonka beans from
Amazon. My cake is fed with Cointreau in the fruits and going to have more poured over it when it comes out. I’ll have to try that flavourful rum next year. God bless your wonderful hands and a Happy Christmas to you and your family especially Baby Creamy ❤
True old cake,old folks,best ever
10/10 must try again
Great presentation 👏
It looked sooo good😍😍😍😍😍. Am I the only one that likes to add like chopped almonds and peacans to my cake🤭🤭🤭? I know it's not the traditional way but mi love ittt
