R3 starting problem

My first ever video of Yamaha YZFR3 startup problem. Got the bike in 2017 ran fine that season. 2018 bike wont start intermittently but managed to ride entire season. 2019 arrived, I replaced the stock YZT8V Yuasa with Motobatt MBTX7U. Bike was running fine until the problem returned (after sitting in the garage for 3 days). Brought a noco genius G3500 ($45) charged it fully - no go. Hooked up to GOOLOO 800A Peak 18000mAh and jumped it , bike starts up. Battery holds charge but have to find out what is faulty

I have a 2018 R3 with that exact same battery, as it must be original. I am guessing that it is the battery as well. This did the same thing to me at the end of last season and i had it on the charger all winter and it worked a handful of times and then this issue came back. I also believe it is the battery as i am going to purchase one today.

Sorry Folks, I never thought my video will have any hits.
Yes it was a bad battery from the distribution, (most likely was sitting on the bench too long).
Since it was under warranty i got it replaced and the new Motobatt is working fine.

What was that teek taak sound came at 4:48 after installing the GS battery and then while using the self start???? After that 1 second teek taak sound the r3 got started.
Is this normal? Or any problem is there. Bcause i to get the same 1 second teek taal sound after changing to new battery.

If you are referring to a small 'click' sound its from the jump starter.

Very very weird sound almost like 2 wires touched before you started it at exactly 4:47 in the video clad it started tho mines shit still just from sitting a year

It a dead battery more than likely. Make sure to use a 12volt charger

Bad battery. Those R3s dont like less than perfect batteries.
