Probably the simplest build for a slide I’ve seen yet. I love it. Been trying to decide how I’m going to make one for my new truck and this is gonna be it. Thank you. 😁
Mate I absolute love your work! Is it possible to have a complete list of materials and sizes including the upstand height on large 3mm sheet and size of angle. I think your solution is perfect and I would like to replicate exactly to your specifications. Again well done mate and thank you for sharing. Dave
Hi Dave 3mm flat sheet base, 1440mm long, 555mm internal width, 70mm internal riser 50mm x 50mm equal angle Drawer slides are from Dunn and Watson Queensland part number DS0131 1422mm long 17mm Form ply for the base 8mm nut inserts to fit the ply base to the angle and Milwaukee packout base system to the ply. 6mm stainless screws with Nyloc nuts Mike.
@@vincentduke7212 thank you, I’m very happy with the outcome I can switch between Milwaukee packout options and easily remove the slide for full tray use
Thats a long slide and a heavy load, not sure you will find one that will suit your specifications The largest Dunn and Watson have is 1700mm long and max 45kg.
@@TheTexasguy83 thanks for that, the slide is working out a treat. I use it every day for work. The roller cover is a EGR rolltrac. it works well when it works having issues at the moment. They are trying to fix it.
Its made from 3mm aluminum and can be purchased from most aluminum supplier, you will just need to get someone to bend to suit the width of your slide.

Thanks for the video
You inspired me to build mine for my cybertruck.
Used the existing D ring bolt holes.
That's the best setup I've seen for a raptor..what a perfect fit..I may have to change from dewalt to Milwaukee.
Looks fantastic.
Cheers mate. I think Milwaukee should give me a freebie but don’t think thats going to happen 😂
