DAVE, READ THIS, YOU'LL LIKE IT! The visualisation of data is what is known as a self organizing map. It takes "high dimensional data" let's say a long line of a persons properties, like hair color, age, etc, lots of parameters. And then places these in a "lower dimensional space" 2D, 3D preferably so that we can properly visualize it. It will clump things with similar properties together, while keeping really different properties apart. It's all done with an artificial neural network, and is really cool! :)
Legend. Thank you. I saw a Google I/O (or TED, not 100% sure) talk about an AI learning from images and grouping them up like this as it learned more. It was scary how quickly a "blank" AI could learn to differentiate items purely based on visual styles and angles.

Not a bad explanation. I am a huge fan of ML and Data Science as a whole, the math is extremely tricky for me though.

The cool this about these 2 AI videos youve released is that they got me into machine learning myself. I am a developer, but i have never delved into Machine learning(It has been too computer sciency). So after your last video i started looking into it. And over the last 5 years its been made very accessible for normal developers who do not focus on the research part of programming. So since your last video i have made an AI that will predict if the people i play against in CSGO are cheating and i started to work on an AI to respond to peoples questions about interior design.
Thank you for pushing me down this rabbit hole of imagination and maths!

@@valice_vecs7616 I'm a diabetic, and really we can have all the sugar we want other than people with certain kinds of diabetes that force them to stick to a diet. Most of us just have to monitor it well and put in insulin for our food.
y'know there's 2 types of diabetes, type 1 is when you're born with it and type 2 is when you aren't taking care of your body and sort of overload your pancreas causing you to need artificial insulin.
