I've been coming back to this video for the past six months. Anytime I feel like I've tightened up or loss flexibility in my hips and hammies I do this video and feel so rejuvenated afterwards! Love this sequence!
I am still relatively new to your sessions but I wanted to thank you for your posting on RUclips as you have no idea how much following your exercises have helped me with my recovery from cancer. Because of the treatment I was not allowed to visit a gym and I have found peace and a great form of rejuvenating exercise for my mind and body through your videos. Morning Kundalini for Energy started me off and I haven't looked back. Thank you.
Another great one for getting those hips open. So important if you have tight hamstrings & hip flexors as tightness in those areas causes an unpleasant knock-on effects like achilles and plantafascia pain. 30 mins is perfect too.
Love this and how it opens up my hips and lower back. I am recovering from soft tissue injuries consisting of hamstring, hip flexors, IT band, etc. on my left side which eventually caused a torn meniscus in my left knee. Two months post orthoscopic knee surgery, I have regained all the range of motion in my left knee and the muscles on my left side have started to release. This is largely due to yoga. I love the 30 minutes I spend with you each day, working on increasing my flexibility and strength. Just wished I would have listened to my body sooner. I am looking forward to returning to doing the things I love most, running my dogs in agility. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I love your hip opening videos. I am already quite flexible - which creates its own issues... - but at the same time so tense in my hip and lower back area that I can trace my tense shoulders all the way down my back. And your routines get me deep enough into the stretches that my available flexibility gets challenged enough so the stretches actually reach my tight spots.
I loved it! My hips were so tight before I started but now it's so relieved! Thank you so much, it only proves how well you know the poses and how well you know how to use them and when to use them. Sending so much love to you 💕💕 Namaste🙏
Woke up this morning, grabbed my lemon water, hopped onto my mat and did this practice, wow loved it! I definitley woke my hips up! I will be referring back to this one again, thank-you! Love your creative sequences in each and every video.
I have no idea how I found this practice but, holy cow I was soo sore in my hips and low back and getting a lot muscle spasms in T6,7 lately .. this was such a godsend! I feel rejuvenated and like I have some flexion in my low back. My hips and hammies feel like leg day didn't even happen! Haha. Thank you so much!! 😍
I miss these in front of the window sequences. I have followed you for a long time and I love all your stuff, but these were really some of my favorites. I wonder if you could do a playlist with all the ones in this setting specifically??? I like how up close they are and that you are talking while you're teaching, not a voiceover. It feels like we're in my living room together.
This is exactly what I needed. I have extremely tight hips and occasional sciatic pain and this really helped loosen up my hips and low back. I will be adding this video to the rotation for sure. Thanks Brett!
Of course I’ve been following you for a while but haven’t had time to actually take a class. So after a long day of hairdressing I’m like what can I do that doesn’t involve standing found this video love it love it love it. You are such a marvelous teacher.
I have done this 1 at least twice. watched the yoga pant video and ordered 2 pair of beyond yoga gathered pants from yoga outlet from your link. believing I will love and they won't slide down during practice. I usually wear athletia because they have the hidden drawstring. blessings to you Brett

I found this challenging as had not practiced this pose for a while, but I managed to get up on both sides, the standing leg at least. Thankyou so much, I now feel challenged and inspired to practice more thanks.
I had to come back and add more at the end of my day: my first time with this video and my hips feel MUCH better and less tight. Really alleviated my hip dysplasia pain and the stiffness I get from sitting.
Thankyou brett, I've realised that I must have been holding tension in my hips for many years, this video was particularly effective. (Now currently listening to sacral chakra Tibetan singing bowls!) I will release this tension!! I will, I will! :)

This helped so much after doing weights with personal trainers and at the gym with a mix of dance classes and soccer I needed this to help correct my stiffness

Great sequence! Didn't leave me feeling sore like other hip opening sequences I've tried. I love how you explain the different movements and how they should feel, love that you go slowly and allow for the body to really melt into the different poses and stretches ^_^ Namaste
Brett you are an awesome teacher. Your poses queuing and creativity short Vinyasa this one after another here are very refreshing. I only wish at my age the sequence was more accessible, as most of the routine is very painful for me, and it is hard to get through even with adjusting for my body limitation. Keep up the good work, I’m sure those younger yogis receiving a full and beautiful treatment you intend. Namaste
Thank you! This sequence was delightful! One suggestion I have is a little more release of the lower back at the end. I have a very tight piriformis so it was quite painful to lie in corpse pose in savasana. To solve this, I did a few supine, slow camel riders (pelvic tilts) and a supine twist and then I was able to be comfortable in corpse pose. I hope this helps anyone else with this issue!
