Thank you for sharing your experience at Devil's Garden. I hope to drive there this summer. What was the road like when you left the parking lot? Would a AWD SUV be able to manage the road when wet?
In dry weather, passenger cars can get to the Devils Garden easily enough. Wet weather might make the drive a little more challenging. Once you turn off the highway, the road is dirt all the way to the turnoff for the Devils Garden and beyond. AWD SUVs should be fine.
