    There's a theory in psychology called the theory of low arousal: that Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD for short, basically psychopathy) is often linked to forms of ADHD, and that criminals who have this ADHD / ASPD mix have brains that exist at an abnormally low levels of arousal, and they therefore need to do extreme things just to feel alive. They exist in a chronic state of "arousal hunger" that drives their offending. Many such offenders also have other addictive, "thrill seeking" behaviours. Harold Shipman was a drug addict. Peter Wright had a gambling addiction. David Mulcahy actually appeared on TV before he was caught, talking about his skating addiction. The prison population has a massively disproportionate number of prisoners with ADHD.

      Not sure why you are switching from APD and ADHD.

      ADHD does not make people serial killers, or any other type of criminality. 😂

      Always the case. Misogyny runs deep in society. Here in the UK we’ve had so many cases in recent years where police officers have been the culprits.

      There seems to have been quite a few serial killers in Scotland around that time or it was 2/3 committing a lot of murders.

  • @CRUZIFIEDv4
    @CRUZIFIEDv4 2 месяца назад +7

    Even if you're doing life never to be released. You don't confess to more crimes, because it can lead to being put in a higher security prison for decades. Plus lack of other privileges. So it does and will effect them.

    • @1972dsrai
      @1972dsrai Месяц назад +2

      I assumed they would be given better conditions or perks if they confessed to unsolved murders they were suspected of.
