- Veteran journalist Jane Pauley officially begins her new role as the host of "Sunday Morning" this weekend. She succeeds Charles Osgood, who retired from TV last month. With more than four decades of reporting, Pauley joined "Sunday Morning" as a contributor in 2014. Pauley joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss her new role and her upcoming interview with Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
I am thrilled for you, Ms. Pauley! Congratulations. I'll be watching.
I love Jane Pauley! She is amazing- I watch her on Sunday mornings.
I've met Jane a few times over the years and she is just as nice as she can be.
I remember when you worked with the local news in Indy. Good to see you are still doing your thing. Loved ya then and still love ya. Congratulations!!
CBS Sunday morning is my favorite show on television. The stories are always uplifting and help me start my week on a positive note. Thank you for wonderful programming since 1979. We need more shows like this especially in today’s social and political climates.
She's still very cute at 66.
As a follower and fan of Jane Pauley for all of those 40 years she remains in my eyes the chicest, and most sophisticated class act in television.
Her sense of style is unparalleled.
From NBC to CBS... way to go, Jane Pauley!
I love her! Her and Joan the best morning hosts Ever!!!!!
I really came to appreciate Ms, Pauley when she was on the Today show with Briant Gumbel. One day the show was broadcast live in downtown Atlanta where I worked. Seeing her off-camera, I was able to see how classy she was while Gumble was arrogant.
Jane Pauley epitomizes class.
YAY! Our Indianapolis, Indiana girl is back in the "major" limelight! Way to go.
Ray Jones You can have her back. We don’t need her any more than we need the Colts who weren’t very good when you stole them.
Tbh, I didn’t know anything about this show. But I liked their reports so much that I started looking the host up. Thank you for doing these.
Great to have you back Jane! Yah!
I like HER out fit! Love her hair style,TOO!
I love Jane Pauley

Very nice. Congratulations!
Just noticed Jane is wearing something very similar to what she wore on her first day on Today in 1976

Nice lady, bad choice of outfit Ms.Pauley
It’s a tribute to what she wore on her debut in 1976 on the Today show:

Only fitting that the network of Charlie Rose and Dan Ratherbiased would seemlessly put Pauley on there straight from overt Democrat campaigner for Obama to now “objective” journalist.
Jane worked for John Lindsay’s campaign.
Kirk Moore The pipeline from overt Democrat campaign work and “journalism” is undeniably wide.
Leave her alone. Only two political parties in this country. One or the other. Small world
@@marcuslloyd8218 A disinterested journalist should not be explicitly identified as an activist with either of our two major parties. She overtly campaigned for Obama on the eve of her coming to CBS. Of course there are many examples of the compromised objectivity of almost exclusively Democrat journalists. Perhaps the most glaring example of this is George Stephanopoulos seamlessly gliding from his participation with Carville, H. Clinton, and others to destroy the reputations of Slick Willy’s victims to then becoming the public face of ABC “News.” To cement his compromised objectivity he gave about $75,000.00 to the Clinton Foundation after joining ABC as a “journalist.” Can you imagine the mainstream media outrage if ABC had hired Rove, whose position in the Geo. W. Bush administration was the same as Stephanopoulos’ position? The media cancel culture would have stopped that one in its tracks.
