I am a Michigan voter. Senator Stabenow has done an excellent job representing Michigan. I completely agree with her we never had time to heal as a nation from the terrible COVID pandemic. Over 1 million Americans perished, many left with long haulers after effects. Our schools and businesses closed and hospitals and our health care workers overwhelmed. Add to this January 6th, our crazy SCOTUS. We deserve some peace.

We were blocked from parking, spit on ,cursed at gross levels.. threatened with hurting our families and bodily harm to our person, vehicles, homes and livelihood. Being a senior caregiver I spent most of my time during covid consoling my team, as they did not want to return to work.. I'm not sure if many people realize the sacrifices we make to, comfort you and your families, heal you all where do the best we can in your time of need. We're not only in pressure from the public what the heck happened to you all??
But we are in constant stress fulfilling our duties and making the O.R. running smoothly as we can make it for the doctors, ER surgeons, overworked Registered nurses!
I was amazed and ashamed how our communities treated us,ya know, when we were head down in the lobby trying to catch our breath.

As long as what we want gets done that’s what matters, but don’t for one second believe she’s genuinely pushing for things. That’s how we get complacent and they start getting too comfortable with the power we give them. The Republican tax cut trickle down economics has never worked.
It only trickles sideways. Companies don't pass the savings on to anyone but stock buybacks and dividends.
The only thing that actually works is raising taxes on the rich and corporations. Tax money is our infrastructure and the more taxes we can amass as a country the better our infrastructure is. And so higher taxes for the rich and corporations in turn has the real trickle down effect by building and repairing our infrastructure creating jobs and bolstering our economy. You can't build and repair our infrastructure without taxes.
