I'm a Dodger fan but I was just watching and A's game against the Guardians game on March 29th 2024 and it's just pathetic to see the Oakland Coliseum almost literally empty! Just let these poor A's go to Vegas now and let them play in the minor league park they will have 10 times more fans in that little Park! This team is the second oldest in MLB history ! It has too much history to be demeaned like this! This would be best for the game!

These renderings where delayed so they could include resort... And the stadium wont actually be on the strip side of the lot so "the views of the strip" will actually be views of the resort. Its a bit strange there are no renderings that show of the full lot, are these renderings of a stadium that can actually be built on the 9 acers they are limited to or are these renderings being released to try and get investors and buildable renderings will come later?
Maybe the investment is the stadium.
The stadium will be constructed in the MIDDLE of the site, pointing to the Northwest, with the resort property being built in an 'L' shape around it.

Takes public money. And contrary to popular belief California does put up tax payer dollars to keep stadiums...see Sacramento..Santa Clara and San Diego

Long run Oakland will be better off. Sucks A's leaving, but why should taxpayers pay hundreds of millions for a stadium complex for a billionaire owner that basically told Oakland go F themselves.
This is the 3rd one they've done. And look at that, they still dont have any financial plan as of this writing, May 1st 2024

You know what Las Vegas will have in 2028 that Oakland does not ? The Raiders, A's, In-N-Burger, Denny's & a New NBA arena built for a new NBA franchise. The Oak View Group is breaking ground for its $10 billion campus that would also include the 20,000 seat arena along with a resort and casino to be completed by 2027. The Las Vegas to Los Angles Bullet Train and its 110 acres Las Vegas Station will be completed by January of 2028. The 110 acre Las Vegas station is being built on a 270 acre vacant lot that will also hold the 66 acre $10 Billion Dollar Complex that Oak View Group is building.The massive project will be built just south of the Las Vegas Strip between Las Vegas Blvd and the I-15 near the I-215 interchange, on land that his group bought last year.
