I really wanted to watch this but as the song started i needed to turn it off. :/
Just came across this video, good job guys i just learned something new after producing for 5 years already, this never even crossed my mind to be honest i've always just tried to find a good balance in the stereo field signal, appreciate you doing this :)
Thank you so much for this ! I've been looking for a simple instruction on what mid side eq is and what it does . Very helpful for my future projects !
Great video!. Have seen some other people talking about this feature in Logic's EQ but didn't quite grasp the technique. Thanks for clarifying it!.
The best,
FLX
Thank you very much. Much more helpful than what I've seen on RUclips, Cheers!
Interesting technique for mixing synths- thanks for posting
great tutorial really helpfull , pls do more tutorials about eqing and compression
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
Nice. Was wondering if you can do mid and then second stereo EQ after just very lightly or would that be too much
Sir, thank you.
Great tutorial. Where did you get your Logic X skin? Thanks.
I see you put that EQ on the BASS after other plugins.. is that basically bc you're gutting highs on the SIDE only EQ, and would that be a no no putting the EQ first whenever using only the MID-SIDE or Sum-Diff approach? Thanks, great video, and cheers!
You did lowcut the sides on the synths from 250 Hz but the bass? Where did you lowcut the mid on the synths?
What EQ would you do for the drop chords ? side EQ ?
so if i dont choose mid or side will it cut the lot? i cut and boost but never 100% understood what they meant by mid side haha. mastering is in a class of it own haha
thanks
Welcome
could have edited the tut to make it much shorter!!!
Did he just call the stereo width “the girth” 😂
I believe I also heard "Tinty"
Pretty good in terms of showing the process and results, but terminology is all over the map. Most people just don't understand that Mid is basically L + R, and Side is L - R and has nothing to do with frequencies or panning placement per se.
nice skin .... this is really interesting
Why does logic look like pro tools?
It's a third parts skin
Too bad the track is garbage
Bull sheet
