Why does the USA and the West have never shown the same amount of respect to east Asian countries Japan and China have both dominated volleyball. Both countries have won multiple Olympic gold Medals and World Cups yet they always get no respect or get underrated I know the political climate in the USA to regard towards China but politics should stay out of sports.
Congrats to the Turkish team! It was so well deserved! Some people might say that the team has only won because of Vargas, but that's not true. Of course she was the best player of the team, but we need to acknowledge that the whole team was so well put together. Orge was a monster defending and passing. Sahin was a really nice surprise as a setter. Gunes and Eda were very effective at blocking and they helped at attacking when they were needed. Karakurt dealt pretty good with her new responsability (reception) even without enough experience with that. And even Cebecioglu helped a lot taking major responsability with the reception along with Orge. It was beautiful to see. Greetings from Brazil!

Remember, this China team wasn’t the best form of them, there’re Zhuting and Zhang changning but all the others team seem putting all their effort out, usa, turkey and poland. But I was surprised that USA went home with nothing, I thought Thompson was the best in new generation but she wasn’t contribute much. In club she always the key of the team. Anyway China was doing good for bring home a Silver Medal with this team. Nothing to regret. Turkey having a significant upgrade with this coach and power killer Vargas

Congratulations Turkey! ❤️ Everyone played well especially Vargas. I really think that Vargas was the missing piece to lift the burden of Karakurt. Ever since Vargas was with the team, the team doesn't need to rely solely on Karakurt during out of system plays. Everyone did their assignment and was stable. They punished team China with their hard serves and attacks most specially from Vargas who was almost unstoppable a while ago. Nice try, team China! 💛 They really need to deepen their bench. Hopefully they'll have Zhu and Zhang and/or new spikers that are good in passing for the upcoming Olympics qualifiers. It was clearly seen during this game that they were clearly out of option but to wait for a good pass because they don't have other or better option for a receiver.
Now this is articulated well...Turkey team is really good and strong no doubt. However Karakurt needed an assist, and Melisa was the right person not only her attacks and spikes are strong but she also good with timing. I really hope Turkey will win the next champions league too.

Not many people expect China to win especially when Turkiye has more firepower in Vargas, Karakurt ,Derya, Gunes and Erda. So 3-1 is a fair result that saw Turkiye win its first world championship. Congrats to the Turkish team! It was so well deserved! Some people might say that the team has only won because of Vargas, but that's not true. Of course she was the best player of the team, but we need to acknowledge that the whole team was so well put together. Orge was a monster defending and passing. Sahin was a really nice surprise as a setter. Gunes and Eda were very effective at blocking and they helped at attacking when they were needed. Karakurt dealt pretty good with her new responsability (reception) even without enough experience with that. And even Cebecioglu helped a lot taking major responsability with the reception along with Orge. It was beautiful to see.

Remember, this China team wasn’t the best form of them, there’re Zhuting and Zhang changning but all the others team seem putting all their effort out, usa, turkey and poland. But I was surprised that USA went home with nothing, I thought Thompson was the best in new generation but she wasn’t contribute much. In club she always the key of the team. Anyway China was doing good for bring home a Silver Medal with this team. Nothing to regret. Turkey having a significant upgrade with this coach and power killer Vargas

Everyone played well especially Vargas. I really think that Vargas was the missing piece to lift the burden of Karakurt. Ever since Vargas was with the team, the team doesn't need to rely solely on Karakurt during out of system plays.
Everyone did their assignment and was stable. They punished team China with their hard serves and attacks most specially from Vargas who was almost unstoppable a while ago.
Nice try, team China! 💛 They really need to deepen their bench. Hopefully they'll have Zhu and Zhang and/or new spikers that are good in passing for the upcoming Olympics qualifiers. It was clearly seen during this game that they were clearly out of option but to wait for a good pass because they don't have other or better option for a receiver.
Yesss Vargas was the missing part of us. Karakurt needed one more helper
and also Turkey is the missing part of her career.
Now this is articulated well...Turkey team is really good and strong no doubt. However Karakurt needed an assist, and Melisa was the right person not only her attacks and spikes are strong but she also good with timing.

Not many people expect China to win especially when Turkiye has more firepower in Vargas, Karakurt ,Derya, Gunes and Erda. So 3-1 is a fair result that saw Turkiye win its first world championship. They will be a leading contender for next year's Paris Olympics gold. China did well to get into the final.
