It is just these two. He’s using a whammy (or equivalent) pedal to achieve an octave up. There are settings on the pedal to allow the natural tone of the bass to come through simultaneously. Stereo pedal boards also allow you to mix those through left and right channels to distinguish them from one another even further and sound like 2+ instruments
