As much as I love their gritty only bass and drums beginnings, I'm really enjoying the added production/instruments
Their songs sound cool the first 10 times. After that they get kind of boring because they are too basic. Royal Blood needs more than two musicians.

He replied to someone on Instagram once who said something very similar to this and he (Mike Kerr) said it’s super hard to put them together
Don't know about these guys but I remember James Hetfield describing pretty much the same thing. You write separately, then figure out note by note which vocal sound goes together with which action on the instrument. Imagine playing and singing "Sad But True" at the same time for example.

Mike’s voice is fantastic here. They’ve improved so much as a band. Their overall sound has grown to be so powerful and addicting.....

As a bass player, i've waited for a band like this. It just blows my mind, that it works without a guitar..(Just found the band)

He does the sounds of an electric guitar also so we should rather say that this works without a guitar player, and not without guitar :P :D

Their first record blew my mind I could not believe it was just a bass and drums! Their second CD was good just did not live up to the first record, However, THIS new record is FANTASTIC!!! From start to finish it just never lets up! This is a new classic BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT DAMN IT!!!

I've heard of them for quite a while but just got into them few months ago. Have been playing their 2 albums on repeat. I personally am more into their debut album with more energetic rocky sound and kickass riffs but it's awesome to see they expand their sound. Can't wait for the Typhoons album!

Tracking problem with his POG or Harmonizer (guitar pedal) I think. It duplicates the note you're playing at multiple octaves or intervals and can sometimes create some glitchy sounds if you hit multiple notes at once.
