The Miter Saw Station Plans are finally done! It's only been 6 months in the making. Check out the link and get your own set of plans. Each purchase helps out the channel bring you more great content!
In this PDF, you will find 36 pages of step by step instructions, high quality 3D models, cut list, and a material list. As an added bonus, the plans also include the upper cabinets plans. That’s 2 plans for the price of 1! www.foxhallww.com/downloads/mater-saw-station-plans
I can really relate to your love of lasers and hate of jigsaws.
Preach it brother!!!
Can’t wait to build mine
Hey JP I just noticed something in the plans … it’s calls for 6) 17” small nailers and 6)20” large nailers , if I’m doing this correctly it should be 4) 17” small nailers and 8)20” nailers , not complaining at all the plans are freaking awesome man ! You done a really good job on them and thank u!! Anyways just a heads up!
Thanks bro. The cut list is probably off. Thank you for bring that to my attention. I’ll look at it when I get home.
You're right about the dreaded jigsaw! I don't know a single person who likes it😅
IKR! Bane of my existence. I throw up in my mouth a little bit every time somebody says “jigsaw”.
I built mine about forty years ago. I built it with the table on which the miter rested about four inches lower than the miter needed to have its tables flush with the cabinet tables. Then I added another table and used Allthread with washers and nuts to raise that table to accommodate the table of whatever miter I wanted to put in it. Be it a Delta, a Dewalt or, on down the road, a Bosch or Festtool.
Wonkification is long and arduous process but shortcuts can be learned to achieve desired wonkness
Seriously. Like your style!
lol! excellent observation....thank you sir
man, I came back and looked at this comment again. It still cracks me up!
I noticed in this video the orbital setting on your jigsaw is set to 3, which makes that blade moves forward as well as up and down. This makes for a faster but rpugher cut. If you set the orbital setting to 0, the blade will only move up and down leaving smoother cuts and better control on the jig saw 👍 hope that helps your relationship, keep up the awesome videos! New subscriber 👍
I actually don’t have that jigsaw anymore. I sprung for a Milwaukee Jigsaw. So much better. Thanks for the tips though! Cheers!
Love this project. Can’t wait to see the plans!
plans are done check out the pinned coment
Great video JP. You tried about everything. Cool to watch. Thanks for the positive comments about the SkatePlate. Nice clean cuts in a matter of seconds. #rollyoursaw
#rollyoursaw!
Great build. I am in the middle of building my miter station work area based on King's plans. I think your build is a better build. It has given me pause to consider a few things to incorporate into my build.
My old miter saw station was James’ design. This design saves on plywood. I’ll have plans out soon.
Nice!
thanks! and thanks for watching!
Great Video and Nice Job 👍🏻 looking at building my mitre station in near future and like your build. Keep up the good work. 🇬🇧 🇺🇸
thank you! I am glad you enjoyed it. I am working on another video with the upper cabinets and dust collection
Turned out really good JP!!!
Thanks bro!
Great job,I’m looking to build my own soon
Sweet!!! Im still working on the plans for this
Love the fence thingy! Great video! I’d put peg board up.
Nice work realistic in realizing nothing is perfect and just roll with it
Totally!! Especially for shop furniture.
Came together quite nicely, looks great!
Thanks buddy!
Nice work. I'll be building something similar in my job trailer soon and looking for ideas. Go Steelers!!
Go Steelers! I’ll have plans for this available soon
Nice job!!!
thank you sir
There is a reason for dust collection. There is a reason to keep your fingers away from sawblades too..
stay safe and keep all fingers at your hand!
Thank you for the PSA
Great video my man 👍
Deserves a sub and a like at the very least 🤙
Thank you sir! Glad you enjoyed it.
You didn't list the laser measurer thingamabob that you used. Seriously looking for a good, accurate one that will measure at least 100' (looking to measure my fence lengths on all sides to draw up a sketch of my property to scale, among other needed uses). Nice build, btw!
Thank you for watching. Here is the model of the laser measure that is the step up from mine. amzn.to/3vzVXjd. Mine model will only go up to 65ft. This model goes up to 165ft.
@@foxhallww311 Thanks! Yeah, I thought it might be a Bosch. I actually looked at a couple of those at Home Depot. This is actually about $15 cheaper than at HD! Thanks, again and have a great day!
did you end up purchasing the laser measure? how do you like it?
Not yet. Going to be awhile. Unfortunately, I've got lots and LOTS of other, more immediate, things to deal with. New house that was in dire need of a lot of hidden work. Finished quite a lot, but still working on putting down quarter round along the baseboards, then I get to finish the fence on both sides of the house, THEN I finally will be able to start working on running all the electrical for my shop. Mapping out my new property is just going to have to take a far back seat, in the meantime. Someday, though, I'll be able to get around to it...hopefully sooner than later. 😉@@foxhallww311
Got yourself a sub, man! Great content!
Thank you! Welcome aboard
Hey guys! The plans will be available on Wednesday. I apologize for the delay. Work and life have been a real bear lately. I will also be getting back into the shop to build a router table/cabinet soon.
I like those Viking arms. Those look cool and very helpful.
Chris they are so rad. I’m building some upper cabinets this weekend. I will use them to hoist up the cleats
4:59 Technical woodworking name. Hickory handled Wacky stick!
Lol what is that the name of?
Oh I got ya. Hahaha
Do you have a list of all your tools on a website somewhere? Great video!
Some of the tools are listed in the description. I am working on a tool list page on my website
You are cracking me up today! How long have you had the Incra system? I have the TS LS and wonder fence on my 4512 😁
I am looking forward to seeing your over head dust collection.😁🛫
Man it’s bad. I’ve had it for like 4 or 5 years.
Mr. Falcon, I got sold my incra and R4512 and got a new Grizzly table saw. Big time upgrade! but i miss my Incra so much. So I have decided to order another one for the Grizzly!
Great video. Sorry if I missed it but what are your dimensions or atleast depth front to back and which Cruzer is that - the 10 or 12"? Thanks!
It’s a 12” cruzer. I believe the depth is 25”. Plans will be available soon.
I'm sure Viking Arm is a great tool but for $210 i think really high in price just saying
It is a bit pricey I do agree. But I have used the knock offs and similar products that are cheaper. they do not compare. They aren’t even in the same ball park.
I’m interested in buying than plans, I live in the UK, is there a metric version? Great video by the way.
I do not have metric as of yet. But I will work on it. If you buy the plans I will give you the updated plans on metric when available for free. Or you can wait until the metric plans are available.
@@foxhallww311 Hi JP, thanks for responding so quickly. I’ll wait for the metric version, I can’t handle imperial, that’s for real men 😂
Like-Subscri ed-Notified (AND you get Extra Credit for being a Steelers Fan!!!)
lol thanks! Go Steelers!
@foxhallwoodworks - what was the depth of your miter saw station?
I believe the top is 25” deep. There are plans available for full details
Really, I think a long fence is just not needed.
I had a long fence for years and it always got in the way and took up too much space
Do you have a link for the ruler used at 2:30?
Hey thanks for watching. Here is that link: amzn.to/3JoScVH
What kind of gimbal are you using?
Are you talking about the camera mount? It’s the Wabi Designs camera arm
I also use a DJI OSMO 4 gimbal
So where art the plans?
plans are done. link is in the description and in the pinned comment at the top.
You keep screw makers in business.
Lol you right you right
Satan's power tool... FACT!
Preach!
