Pre-teen cannibal build! The roof looks amazing. I just made a build following one of vapidvalentines houses with destroyed walls and it looked fantastic, BUT! Everyone who visits my camp keeps repairing the goddammed walls, they don't get the "artistry" I'm going for. Other people. You can't live with them, but you can't kill them...I'll send them to Daphne's meat camp instead.

@@vapidvalentine For real! I ended up with no walls and did a glass roof overhang hoping it looked like roll up windows instead. Now my friends are like, "why doesn't your house have any walls?" Aesthetics are everything!!

I didn't realize those filing cabinets would stay in the destroyed prefab! I think it's due to snapping. I know you mentioned the consoles, but I remember with the sectional couch that when I moved the foundation underneath the couch stayed floating, so the couch may work too. Great scrappy build as usual and great figuring that stuff out!
Those couches would definitely work! I remember trying to drop merge them and them floating. Anything that functions like that should work. Even those barbed wire fences might work, those float too for no reason! Thank you lanthar! Thanks for your support 🙏🏻

That’s really grate. . they’ve not only destroyed the lighting in the game but they’ve messed with so many other building aspects like certain objects can’t merge into each other anymore even if you destroy them it’s so discouraging to build so what a refreshing video to show that merging still exists just not as much as well you know as it used to be
They do a lot of background patches to “fix” a list of known bugs, and I don’t think they ever bother checking to see if the bug affects the game negatively, or is something people are using or not to build with.

I should imagine that placing furnishing on the mats/carpet, before placing the mat/carpet inside, could save a headache too.
If it’s all just on a rug, that stuff will disappear when you break the prefab
@@misterchurch666 of course, yes. Just one of my little work-arounds.. especially when collisions might be a thing in placing stuff close & tight. Managed something like that, this, in one of the derelict buildings on the road between Watoga & abandoned bog town. I believe I saw a build of yours there once. Inspired me to try. Managed to clip a foundations into the structure, made life way easier lol.

Could find a way to blank out the 'Sheepsquatch' on the poster, then add an 'I' before the 'Ate My Brother' just to add a little more creepiness, and potentially story? Otherwise, amazing work!! Got me wanting to go destroy all my prefabs to see what 'could be' 🤔
Ah man Church this is amazing, truly masterful, the roof idea is one if the coolest roofs I've ever seen! I actually did one of these a few months ago in a destroyed red rocket but i used a different method to get the rugs down...needless to say yours is way better god knows how you figured that out 😂, Anyway awesome stuff man.
That's cool! Did you use foundations snapped through it to build inside it, or did you set the rugs on an item outside it/a hill are near it? And thank you! I figured it out by applying myself in the most useless way I can in this life 😂

@@misterchurch666 No i didn't use any foundations, If you look at the back of the build there's a tiny lonely rock on the ground, that has a conduit hidden in it and the rug is raised on the edge of the conduit and just kinda lined up perfectly with the prefab floor, then you just move it close and you can get the whole mat on the floor, then I just layered other mats like you did. It's barely noticeable and i did it on completely flat ground, but i definitely prefer the filing cabinet....there's another build we did in a destroyed mega mansion and then you're talking about raising the mat and lining it up to the upper caravans....filing cabinet woulda been wayyyy easier there 😆
I love this build and its story. Great addition by VapidValentine. As always, your builds give me so much creative inspiration. If you addressed this, I don't think I caught it; what happens if someone repairs the structure? I assume you can break it again and as long as the file cabinet is intact you are good to go, correct?
Thank you! If someone repairs it, yes, you can just break it. It’ll look funky but it’s no harm done, the filing cabinet will not be affected

Did you see the Xbox game pass perks have an anniversary set of items which include targets that are like single junk items that you place in a camp. In the future they may make the single junk item displays you want.

A stack of bookcases can sometimes work, depending on the build, but no, walls can’t really be merged side-to-side. You can double them up, triple even

No, because nothing inside is supported by the red rocket, it’ll just go back to how it was when I burn it again :)

Yes!
As always another incredulas build. I've had a minor problem for a while that involves nothing. It suddenly occurred to me while watching you build, that you seem to know everything about nothing, or is that nothingness. Or is that nothing about everything. But I degress. I have attempted a few simple builds, I define that as placing something down, and it stays there..., until it doesn't. I like to put turrets on top of buildings , but sometimes on the ground. I will travel somewhere and come back later to find some of them missing. Entering build mode, I can't find them to repair, but any attempt to replace them with another turret gives me the "exceeds build limits" warning. I have seen some build videos that warn you about placing something, usually in the wrong order and you later can't react with it. This is where I hope your vast knowledge about nothing comes into play. Would you please explain to me what happened and what to do, up to and including scraping the entire build. For some reason, these seem to be the only items affected. Hmm, would using the flame thrower trap to remove the roofs then fix Them do anything to recover my lost items. My ignorance in these matters truely exceeds even my expectations. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
This is very interesting, and I think I might know nothing about it! If you’ve repaired all on your module, and they are ghost items, I would imagine that if relogging doesn’t fix the issue, scrapping might be the only shot. I have never heard of this happening, but I also never use turrets, given that I can shoot the bad guys myself and save 80% of my budget. I hope you can solve this issue, and I hope it doesn’t cost you everything
@@misterchurch666 There is nothing to scrap. There aren't any ghost outlines. Just an empty spot. Which gives me an idea. I can't place more turrets, but I also haven't tried to place anything else there. Something to try tonight, I guess. Thank you for responding. I'm tired of what I built there, I may scrap the whole thing and start over. Please continue showing us how you build things though, it's great inspiration.

It’s a 10mm pistol with the powerful automatic receiver :) bloodied explosive 25% less VATS, it’s not too shabby, even though pistol builds aren’t given any perk space
