Big thumbs-up for what you said at the end. I always try to make my builds immersive and lore-friendly by keeping in mind what I call "The 3 PPs". Everything must have a:
1. Physical Possibility of existing in the real world.
2. Practical Purpose for why my character built it, placed it, or decided to live near it.
3. Pleasing Presentation. In other words, it should look cool, regardless of whether that means a trashy raider camp, a realistic Red Rocket gas station and diner, or a fancy contemporary home.
Love your builds and your humor. Keep up the great work!

Been binging these vids since the multi camp system was revealed, been gathering ideas and exploring to see where I can make camps for the future.
These vids are also hilarious and informational with ""exploits"" that aid in building which I adore.

entertaining build! at around 07:00 you run into a placement issue with the defensive structures, these are much easier if you place them down in the world first and then move them in to place, it somehow makes them much more lenient for placement :) great build yo!

Another sweet build. I loved this location too! After the build/move camp challenge, I cannot stay put. I have a list of another 40 or so places I wanna build and it keeps growing 🤦🏻♀️
FYI. Enemies always take the steps. If not too high can leave (perfect delivery height for trucks prewar 🤷🏻♀️) Reason being, even w out steps, we glide onto any foundation etc

I tried this build out and I absolutely loved it. What you say here about poles no longer works (you posted another video on that). I suppose it is possible, using "scaffolding" to get the fire escape going, but I abandoned that for a bit more boring stairs. I added water purifiers inside the building glitching with a reversed chem station.
Gameplay mechanics like vendors sadly made my camp look a little more "gamey" and I would love to see a camp of yours that include those. I also added a shelter (the smallest kind) that I built in a claustrophobic bomb shelter style, works well imo.
Very entertaining video and beautiful build that struck a chord with me. Keep it up!
Follow up on this: I got the fire escape gantry stack working using "the law of Cody, saviour of Xmas". It took me three hours and an ulcer but it looks fabulous. And scruffy, hence fabulous.
I saw someone camping there last week... he made a maze of floors with a shop only accessible by going all the up the down

I'm totally with you on the point of trying to make your camp fit the lore and make some kind of realistic sense. I'm all for this type of approach especially in F76 where I honestly can't see the point in large builds. I've been playing F76 quite a lot lately and I think the game lends it's self well to integrating builds into the existing world space.

I prefer military styled. My camp currently has it's bar/restaurant including vendors, but also has cmie bunker and BoS tower on the other end

No, it just takes some tomfoolery. When you get to the stacking posts, you will need to use a new method to stack them. Thankfully this will be fixed in the April update
F76 is a builder's worst nightmare. I don't even know why I still bother! But I'm learning a lot of tips and tricks from your videos. Thank you!

Idk about you but I’m a carpenter with access to tons of unowned building supplies. You betcha I’m gonna have a fortified colonial A-frame nestled on the upper banks of the Ohio river. Just need fishing.

There are sadly not a huge amount of rooftops that I've found besides this one that provide ample room for chem wizardry, but I'll keep my eye out for more rooftop options!

I didn't have as much trouble with the fire escape but I love this idea and am trying it now. You also need a pair of -50% fall dam. Legs. Eliminates all fall damage. I've jumped from the top of the tallest monorail and didn't take any damage lol. 🎉🎉😮

So that I could put wallpaper on the outside and have interior wall on the inside still - and so I could board up the windows

How do you make the floating poles?
They patched the way I placed poles in this video, but there is an obnoxious work around (check my channel for the new pole method video, it should be the featured vid)

I didn’t have those specific stairs so I jus made a sec story on top n added stair :) didn’t even have super jump so I don’t have a lot so I improvised a lot didn’t even store my crap when I moved ugh

I know I’m super late to this video, but I’m built in this area and for months I have been trying to build on top of the tallest building and have found absolutely nothing that can get past that irritating metal thing in the center of it, and I wanted to see if I could challenge you into finding a way, and possibly sharing it 😭

Dude! Ok, important question over here:
I was able to set my CAMP up there BUT every time I travel to my CAMP I have to climb that pole and, believe me, that is a pain in the a$$.
Seriously, it takes me 15 to 20 min. to climb that damn pole to get to the rooftop.
My question: What do I need to do or where do I need to set the little Camp toolbox so I appear on the rooftop so I don't have to deal with the stupid pole?

I believe we spawn in just north and east of our camp node but it can be very finicky so my best advice is to just keep moving it around and trying it out until it is nearer to where you want. I personally built a staircase out back but the way I did it in the video has been patched so it’s slightly more complicated now (but still very doable!)

Bethesda decided we couldn’t have nice things anymore and changed how poles work. You can still stack them but it’s more complicated now. Here’s a tutorial on made on the new method: ruclips.net/video/pz_s6vyE3no/видео.html

I like to hop around the maps power sub stations. They're really nice immersive locations with plenty of prebuilt structures to work around. Plus the free power is nice
