So I could probably build a 7 storey tower here using the ramp ?
It’s an interesting concept, but not really all that viable. Just that little bit of support wouldn’t hold the structure. It maybe should have had supports on both of the back corners with the “ramp” and the piece it broke off of being the front support or the supports further back. Other than that, I dig it.
I wish they would just let us go all out and clip shit into whatever and incorporate popular workshop mods that make things easier and better to build because this game is so old just let people have fun ffs. How is building still so bad and convoluted in 2024? It sucks even more because I love building shir
Damn it, camp slot are on sale I'm poor now, I spent 6 hour in custom world to find a design that I like and now I'm going to build it in "official" (I'm making a copy of the entrance of vault 79 next to vault 79)
4 hour later I'm finally done building it
The only thing I don't like personally is that, even with the broken pillar you put in, the bunker still looks like it is floating in a way it realistically shouldn't....... it just looks like it is defying physics 😂😂😂
That's fair! Fortunately I used the simple equation Mx=−Px
where:
Mx
= bending moment at point x
P
= load applied at the end of the cantilever

= distance from the fixed end (support point) to point of interest along the length of the beam.
For a distributed load, the equation would be:
Mx=-∫wx
over the length (x1 to x2)
which you can see is more than compensated by the long concrete slab extending downward. Imagine, if you will, a see-saw - you have a smaller person on one end, so you extend his end out further, moving the heavier person closer to the pivot point, allowing you to balance evenly.
He called this futuristic. Star Trek futuristic based on it's complete lack of toilets.

@misterchurch666 that's fair. I am always excited when I get a notification for a new video from you though if that's any consolation. I've incorporated SOOO many of your build ideas into my camps and whenever I get compliments from people actually interested in building I always refer them to you and Vapid and Violet.
I often combine their lighting and decor techniques with your more immersion style compact build. They end up being a trash heap from the outside and a luxury condo inside. 😆
