- I have wanted to build something like this for a long time, and with a couple of new elements from the scoreboard, this CAMP really came to life in the way I hoped it would. A tip for anyone wanting to build underground. Use the " My personal terminal " I use it because you can interact with it while in power armor !! So no need to get out if your PA everytime you want to go down under 😁

The interior "mansion" is giving The Shining vibes! Must be the tricycle and the carpeting choice. V is definitely a genius. Great build, I thought the new kitchen set was going to be amazing but like everything else in 76, it's frustrating to use. I bought the new building set Palace of the Winding Path, I haven't figured out a theme yet to build with the overly ornate-ness of it.

Love this so much! I often find underground builds a bit claustrophobic but the glass walls totally open up to the awesome view below the map. Fab decoration and all the little touches polish the build off perfectly - like the wee mixing bowl under the beaters. You’re a great team ❤

Impressive work. I once figured out how to wrap my copper ore collector with concrete foundations and thought I was amazing for a day... maybe two. What you're doing is light years beyond.

I love the idea, was struggling with how to do a similar build of underground entrance for a small shop for all of yesterday. I gave up after so many tries of drop merging using the cowspots misc structure and the symptomatic. Will try out the way you did it next time I'm on to see if it works with that one. The Puzzle Aspect, in working out build orders of assets, how & where to use the 'flamer trick' etc.. it was always part of the fun in building in that game. Ha, oh & the ripping everything down because you weren't happy with it all & wanted to start again. Literal hours of fun, & only some of those hours frustrating :)

was underground building pathced or can it only be done in a flat surface? was trying to merge a symptomatic down yesterday but kept getting "object collides" error n it wouldn't go down pass ground lvl x,x
Make sure the item isn't colliding with the pressure plate, also sometimes there can be rocks or weird things under the surface that interfere. But no, it doesn't have to be a flat surface, and it hasn't been patched!

I went to a camp, as you do in FO76. There were a couple items but the vendor was missing. I searched for an unreasonably long time until I found the tip of a stand up bass. I knew why it was there and felt pretty pleased with myself. As I descended into the actual underground camp, buddy logged off the server and I fell through space and time. The moral of the story is: the old stand up bass trick is a MrChurch™️ classic.
P.S. I wanted to switch dirt tiles with plants but apparently that’s not a thing anymore. Work around?

Hmm I don’t remember ever being able to do that, but you can snap a normal concrete foundation through a concrete dirt tile one. If you change the dirt one to the wood one it has less of a rim around it. The concrete one will flicker on the edges
@@misterchurch666 I remember planting on farmable, switching to tile, then sticking a bathtub or pot underneath the plants? I don’t even know anymore. I’ll give the double foundation a shot!

I thought about trying an under-map build once when I had built a camp on the cliff (though the green circle didn't go over the edge) by the foundation outpost and fast traveling home resulted in me loading in IN the rocks, falling 100 feet down and dying, dropping a loot bag with all the wood and concrete I had just farmed that I could never recover because it was UNDER the rocks and I thought "Hmm, if only I could build a stairway down here and get my stuff back" but I a) didn't know how to drop merge then, nor did I have anything yet that'd pull me down really, and b) was almost positive that since the game has pvp that it'd have undermeshing protection.. Man I was such a newbie then... Now I say "Bethesda" the way Sheldon says Bazinga when the game does things like saying "Object is floating" when trying to snap a floor to the top of a single staircase for some reason, or when you go to get into your PA in a rad-zone event and end up dying to the rads because the game decides you're not allowed to get in, or move at all, until the PA times out and recalls.. Aaaanyways, thanks for the video, now I know how to build underground, and that it won't get me banned. :)
I’ve had that happen before too, you used to take fall damage when you fell under the map and landed above ground, but no longer do! The game was scary back then, and terrifying in its many unknowns!
@@misterchurch666 Oh I was unlucky enough that I was under the rocks but above the actual ground mesh, so I slid down the not-quite perfectly vertical ground and landed on a rock, it was almost like the game was saying "F U in particular". now I have bird bones + a -50% fall damage roll on one of my secret service pieces, no idea what the hard limit on fall damage reduction is but I can jump off watoga buildings like Spiderman and be *mostly* fine.. now if only the game had a grappling hook gun..
@@outpost42 lol that is kinda funny! If you have two acrobats (-50% fall damage) limbs, you take 0% fall damage! It’s super fun - I have that on my bloodied build and I can jump off anything and live it 😂

I was screaming at you for making fun of my carefully curated mic volume (which no one else seemed to have any issue with). It really hurt my feelings because I spent so long getting the volume right, I lost sleep over it. So you can imagine the way this kind of comment cuts me deeply at an almost spiritual level. I hope I can get these issues sorted out going forward

Started watching this and then stopped as soon as I realized you were cheating the system by glitching under the map. If it can't be done without glitches than it's not accurate or fair game in my book. You play how you want though.. have a good day.. I'm out.
I wish there was a way to get under the map without having to break immersion by using a glitch. I wanna do a secret underground base so bad but i just cant bring myself to make a hyper realistic underground military bunker that you have to get sucked into the floor for…
