Bethesda knows that most of their players spend a lot of time on their camp and yet there are still stupid rules like you can't place junks on shelves without using glitch.
No roof wallpapers, you need to glitch to get double sided interior walls, the simplest of plans are locked behind a rarity of .05, plants and objects glitch through walls/floors. Pretty much building is amazing and great but Bethesda wants to make it as annoying and stressful as possible.

I have been trying so many other tricks (and failing) to merge items into one another and thanks to your video, I can now do this. I love that you simplified the instructions and then walked us through executing each trick visually so we can see exactly how it's done. I'm going to have so much fun doing this now! My camp kitchen is about to look amazing because I play with my daughter and we always struggle with the cooking and it looks so silly having 2 separate cooking stoves in my camp, so this will not only look really cool, but it will be very helpful and useful as well. I also love the look of sinking items into walls because some items are just so bulky but this will open up floor space significantly without sacrificing the functionality of the items and allow me to build more in a smaller area. And if I blueprint the items, placing them when moving my camp will be much easier for decorating. Thank you so much for sharing this very valuable information, my camp is about to get a seriously cool upgrade!
I tried bluprinting the sunken items on a sealed display case and it wouldn't place them later because "the item is floating". I tried again with a railing around the top of a staircase and couldn't use it later because "the item needs support". couldn't even place the assembly on an open section of floor for the same reason. Blueprints haven't been very useful for me
Great tips, I'm going to use those cycling lights! Here's an alternate tip for food if you don't have the turbo fertalizer yet: An easy way to get enough food from your garden is to equip the Green Thumb perk in Perception. It doubles the amount of veggies you harvest. Then use Super Duper perk in Intelligence to have a chance at crafting double the food you want. With 4 corn I usually get like 12 corn soup.
The railing shelves & pressure plate trick are definitely being used in my CAMPS. I'm definitely gonna be clipping a terminal into a desk at least. I always did that with the big desk security post in 4. In 4, though, you just had to put it there. Didn't need to get all crazy with pressure plates to clip it.
Since the game lets you save up to 3 camps, I highly recommend having a totally seperate camp for farming. You can switch it on whenever you need the ingredients a d then switch back to your other camp after youre done. You can also still use the turbofert method but it will be exponentially more efficient. I have a farm camp I use just for brewing alcohol and creating adhesive.
Piggybacking on the turbo fert tip, having a load put for camp related stuff and including the Green Thumb perk in it you double each plants yield and with turbo fert you can harvest twice. That's 4 veggies per plant!
The flamer trick also works great for decorating shelves in the shelters too as items can be placed floating in there, unfortunately you can't move them grouped together but yeah.
Thanks! I’ve been trying to build a lot lately. I had a camp on a bridge with a bar underneath it, but then it locked up and i had to start all over.... this vid will help with the rebuilding efforts!
how do some players seem to have there camp cover such a large area. i saw camps covering whole ponds and when i try it only covers half. is there away to make the camp tool cover different area. not just a circle.
Amazing, tricks. I pride myself on camp builds, currently Im using a scorched queen base. I was able to place concrete stairs in a 360 around the camp zone, preventing spawns from coming into the camp zone. Since they're indestructible, it works amazing. I have two levels of flooring, a lower one only one level high in a 3x3 flooring center, for 360 turrets, and a second level higher with a wider platform for players. I use open floors on the top floor for the turrets on the first floor to be able to fire through to the top of the floor if the queen decides to land on top. I will admit, it was tedious work to place the 360 concrete stairs, and removing the foundations so I'm left with just the concrete stairs. Can't give up all my tricks! Weve recorded queen defeats in under two minutes. Sure enjoy not being swarmed by spawns, while laying into the queen.
The concrete stairs stops the queen as well, however her wingspan is no joke! And she can still reach the turrets and wipe them out with a single attack! It's a small price to pay for the additional fire power. PS, I will be using some of your tricks in my next creations, and hope my queen base design gets a bit of recognition for ingenuity and functionality! I save the vault for my artistic concepts! And had already placed all my benches in there since I'm not made of gold, and could never afford to repair the damages the queen would do, if I were to place in the camp! Unfortunately there are three items we can't place in there and I frequently use, like vendors, ammo convertors and the collectrons! Once again, the price you pay!
In addition, I keep a workbench and storage in storage of my camp, that I will place directly after the queen is dead, giving players a quick scrap and dump. I don't currently use fallout 1st, hence using a workbench for scrapping. I intend to at some point, but still weighing the options of whether it's worth the money! Feel free to comment with your personal reasons why people should or would purchase fallout 1st.

I've been trying to add the giant southwestern scene mural as an end wall on all my camps and getting it precisely hanging off the edge of a foundation far enough to add walls butting up to it is super time consuming and frustrating. If this works i won't need to make it a 3 story camp ill be able to put 2nd floor tiles in the middle of it too. ill edit this with the results

Thanks great video and some great tips
Glad it was helpful!
You don’t actually need to power the pressure plate. Just stand on one corner and as long as the plate sinks from your weight, the glitch will work
3:14 That idea about using the stove as kitchen hood is amazing! Hope you don't mind I've copied it.... I used the PA trick I learned from you! Thanks much!
Have you thought about doing another CAMP tour video? It's been a while since the last one... ;-)
If you have a Terminal and Cycling Lights.. you can control your light settings with your Terminal
Where can I get glass walls?
Great video, helped me a little :3
Another tip. If you want to build rare item but don’t have the plan read you can have a friend build it for you. I done it before for rare items to be placed like the blue ridge carven flag
Indeed that works for non-atomic shop items.
@@InnovSurvivalist yeah. Sadly I’m looking for the junkyard fountain for my camp and a blue ridge carven flag which I don’t have. those are not atom shop items.
Great video! Thanks very much I was actually struggling to make my CAMP more... satisfying!
BTW... yesterday I tried the preasure plate trick @14:10 , I didn't have it powered and it did work!
I'm on PS4, so maybe it's a difference between PC and console? Don't know.
I’m new to the game kinda, why do a lot of players have their health bar mostly taken by rads?
Bloodied builds. They probably have a bloodied legendary weapon that says "it deals more damage the lower your health" so essentially they're doing an insane amount of damage.
Thank you very much for this information! Very well made video.
I think they forgot to tell people about those power conduits. When were they even added?
The trick with the terminal and the desk doesn't work for me :( I'm on PS4
In my main character most of the build space is taken because of the displays, bobbleheads and magazines.
Yeh, mine is pretty full too. I have a little space left for testing on purpose.
You just reminded me of where all my budget is hiding! Thanks!
What a lovely voice, thanks for the tips
Right on time before I redecorate my camp for Fasnacht. 😀
Have fun!
Thanks! 😊
I just keep my Fastnacht decorations up year-round. Raiders next door don't give a shit.
@@aestevalis0, 😂
Nice, thanks for the tips.
there is tons of workbenches and cooking stations around appalachia
True, but putting them all inside a shelter saves camp budget :)
especially when your running events like SBQ or Earle with clan/teammates. its nice to have everyone at 1 convenient close location with everything available & prep.
I dislike both the way conduits look & the way they work. I got real good at hiding wires & connectors in FO4 & I've gotten pretty good at clipping wires through walls & roofs in 76.
