    Love your little story about your Mini mate. I had a ratty 1275 swapped 69 Morris at the time of the Newcastle earthquake (87 or 89?) twin inch and a half SU's, 2" system with a stumpy hotdog and it turned out unbeknown to me at the time, a lightened crank from a speedway donk. Leaky hydrolastics, Aunger 4 slots, bf goodrich's and flares it looked (like) shit hot and sounded awesome (in my head lol). The CBD of Newcastle was off limits to all other than residents for a month or so after the quake, and I have great memories of the noise brapping that thing around town commuting to work. When I could keep driveshafts and uni's in it. Ahhh memories. You've done a great thing saving this Siggy Benny, nice job. Here's a photo of me doing a single spinner smokey in my GH "big block" wagon back in the day. i.imgur.com/rGLsoFd.jpg ✌

      @fredericrike5974 2 года назад +1

      Once upon a time, far, far away, New Orleans about 1963, I drove a bootleg Frog Eye and threw papers out of it. It had lost it's trademark front end before I bought it for $75, not running; a good battery and a carb rebuild later and I was on the road. Aside from throwing papers, that little car showed me how much fun driving a "slow car fast" was- and likely learnt me enough to not die on the road! And if it isn't fun to drive, than why did you build it? FR

    Even though I have watched Jeff's 911 being built and it is a lovely car that gets used properly I would of been more interested in the Sigma. Because when was the last time you'd seen a Sigma, in any condition, and thought about how many there were on the roads years ago? Also for that reason it would've been in my Top 5 or 10 cars I would've been the most interested in for the same reason. It even looks excellent driving on the roads. Great video.

      Cool ride-loved seeing (what I'm guessing is) your 510 Wagon in the video!
      It still sometimes makes me chuckle to hear folks talk about a place like Mittagong (with July records being a high of 20° and a low of -4° C) as "freezing cold weather" when the place I hail from in St. Charles, Minnesota during the doldrums of February, has Record temps of 14° / -38° C, and we average snow half the month.
      AND I'm sure that someone from Alaska or the Yukon Territories would laugh at my numbers. Anyway, thanks for adding your car's mechanical and metallurgical distinctiveness to the video ("We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own") haha
