The catering was on a double decker bus the band were very nice to work with. I’ve got photos of the go cart somewhere in my loft.

I saw the JoBoxers being a support group for Madness in the 80's at the Manchester Apollo. They are superb and deserve their success. These records will be played for decades if not centuries.
Saw these guys live when they came to New Zealand in the early 80's I had never heard of them but they were first up, before Simple Minds, The Pretenders, and Talking Heads. Probably the best concert I ever went to,. These guys had people up dancing from the moment they walked out on the stage.
Rob Marche is an awesome guitar player. He went on to play as a hired gun for a ton of bands thru the 90's as well. I remember seeing this video on MTV when the color hadn't faded from it yet - we were 16 years old.

She and I lived together here in Chicago for one wonderful here, 1984-1985. I recall it was spring of '85 and Susan had a second job which brought her home later in the evening. In the meantime I'd go out for dinner with my buddies whilst she was out we'd be driving around and the windows were rolled down because it was so nice outside and this song would be blasting on my car radio and I would just tell my friends about how great she was. My friends would say to me - you really love her don't you? Additionally her sister in the UK would send her cassettes with the top 40 british hits. In one of those tapes this was on one of them. Yep. Susan went back to England at the end of '85 and it was a bad split up. After a brief while I lost contact w/her so I don't know if she's alive even. But I will never forget her
