Great video explaining key fob. I've used the window option quite a bit.
I also like how all doors will unlock and lock by pressing the handle button.
One added tip is if you press lock button for ~1 second, the side veiw mirrors fold inward. Press unlock button the same way and the mirrors return to their original position.
Great video, I just purchased my sierra 1500 and now I know how to remote start. Haha
Not sure if the AT4 does it but on my 2020 Denali you can also retract/extend the mirrors with the key fob. Press and hold "lock" to retract, same with "unlock" to extend, convenient. There are all kinds of awesome, smart and convenient features on this truck! I have the Carbon Pro and absolutely LOVE it!!!
It's a great feature, I have that on my SLT as well.

Great video! I did not know about holding the alarm button down for the actual alarm! To fold the mirrors in, you need to press and hold the lock button (also need to make sure it's set to do so in your settings). 😎

Great video, also there is a key built into the key fob, there is a little square button on the end of it press and pull key apart from keychain. Incase your batter dies or you want to lock the glove box or other compartments.

I missed typed. It’s X31. The dealer told me that change was made just to distinguish between the two. So I took it as they are the same except the X.

How do you make the windows go back up with the remote

Ford and lincoln have had that for 15 years. And 15 years ago they even thought "wouldnt it be wise to have lock/lock and hold roll the windows back up. I have a 2020 chevrolet trail boss and its nice but from the infotainment to features like remote window access Ford has that stuff figured out. Gm needs help
BigTyronie Funny, my oldest just started driving and got him a 2012 VW and if you open the door and hold the driver window button down, all of the windows lower and the sunroof opens. I’ve never seen this before and now looking at GMs option, maybe it’s not the best...
@@BigTyronie And GM has had it for 15 years as well, depends upon the model. My '05 Tahoe Z71 also had the heated, auto-dimming outside rear view mirrors that would tilt downward slightly while in reverse so you could see what your bumper or tires were backing into before they had rear backup cameras.
Hi, you can also set the vehicle up where it will automatically lock the vehicle 5 seconds after the last door is closed.

Forgot to mention that there actually is a key hidden inside the fob. You get it out by pushing the little button on the chrome trim section of the fob and pulling down it the key ring connection point. You'll need this to unlock the spare tire. Also I'm sure there's a little cap you can pop off on the door handle with a keyhole under the cap incase your battery dies you can manually unlock the door so you can pop the hood to get access to jump/change the battery.
Another trick... If you want to shut the truck off but leave the stereo going, double tap the push button start. It shuts the truck off and puts it into accessory without powering off the stereo

In the even of the internal battery going out. I believe you can start the truck by putting the keyfob in the center console. There should be a pocket that will fit the keyfob and you can start the truck. It is GM afterall.

Ya know folks, if these truck owners just spend some time READING the owner's manual, those people would already be aware of these & many other features. This guy never read his book but is shocked & happy because he just discovered about these features.

Did I see that you can also set up remote heated seats!!!! I’m gonna have to check on that tomm.
My 2020 LT trail boss does it automatically based on outside temperature. But you also have to set it in your screen while truck is running in your settings.
There is still a key in the fob. Just push the button and pull it out. It works in the door and the glove box.

If you hit the unlock button and then hit it again hold it the windows will go down you will have to go in the truck settings to turn it on
if you remote start and don't drive the truck or you do not put the key in to on ,it will not auto start again you have to start the truck with key and drive it before it will remote start again .took awhile before i figured this out .

What color is your AT4? I know it's not black lol mine's Sky Metallic just a bit lighter than yours.
The key fob also folds the mirrors in if you hold the lock button down. You have to turn it on in the same settings. I have it turned on on my truck I love that feature

If you walk up too your truck with your family. Just push the lock button on back door as you walk by and it will unlock all doors
Add one more. When you walk up to the truck if you press the back door button 1 time will unlock all doors same as 2 presses on the front door.
What about the emergency key in the keyfob?

There is a finction where you can remotely bring in or out the rear view mirrors, my son knows how but I dont.
At 3:24, what’s to stop just anyone from just pushing the button on door handle and getting inside the vehicle??? I’m new to all this and most likely there’s something I’m unaware of, but from my newb perspective it looks like it’s easy for a theif to get inside

Also if you leave your truck unlocked and walk away it will lock itself when the key fob is like 5 feet away
How do you turn off the automatic volume control? When driving i like to have control of the volume and don't like the automatic feature.
You have to go into settings on the screen and adjust there it. It will be under audio tab. Set to low, medium, high whatever is your choice. I have mine on low. It will adjust volume as you speed up to ensure you hear music all the time than outside

What is the range of the auto start? What is the rage of panic button? probably the same? What is it. On my new Toyota it was 75 feet, yes 75 feet for safety. I had to buy the Viper Alarm System to get some range on the auto start, eh?
My '19 Sierra Denali 1500 can start
and activate locks for at least 100 yards and through cement walls of my office.

How the heck to do you make the stereo stay on with the truck off for longer than a few minutes??? I work outside a lot and enjoy having the stereo playing....but who wants to keep going back every few minutes to turn it back on after it goes off over and over? I have searched and having no luck.

one thing i learned with mine that say you only want the windows down a certain amount hit the lock button and it will stop
Except for the fact the radio will work by pusingbthebpower button with the ignition off....
Is there a way to always have the accessories on? My accessories will shut off after 10 min of it being on?
Not sure why you would want to do that it would run your battery down after a while
@@kevinmartin9530 not really. Unless you did it for 9 hours and had the music cranked but I agree its not a good idea anyway.
On my new truck you can open and close the tailgate with the remote, I bet your's does the same. Hit the tailgate button when it's down and it will close.
Question , other day I’m working gas station at Costco. A customer calls me over and says I can not move my gmc Sierra because I remotely started my truck then drove off and I have to call my husband now to bring remote. I could not believe GM would allow someone to drive off without a remote on your person. So we had to wait there until her husband showed up to start vehicle. Is there anything she was missing or was she right?

wait, early on in the video you pressed the unlock twice and it unlocked all doors. Than at the end, u pressed the unlock twice and it rolled the windows down. How does it know which function you want to do. ?

My key fob has a button on the chrome part and if I press it, I can pull the internal key out of the fob
That key is for glove box lock

I don't know about the 2019, BUT the 2020 FOB does have a key built into it, what it's for, I haven't a clue...
To Lock the glove box and the storage under the middle seat. It might do something else too, but not sure.
It unlocks your door. There is a key hole on the door handle.

What color is that I’m debating whether it’s dark green or metallic dark blue
Dark Sky Metallic.
I have a dark sky metallic and it doesn't look like it's the same color as this AT4. But then again, I feel like my truck looks a different color depending on which angle you look at it or the lighting. Its weird, sometimes it looks light blue sometimes it looks dark blue 🤷♀️
