Are you here to learn about the GM Intellilink Infotainment System for an older vehicle? Check out this video of the earlier GM Intellilink System- ruclips.net/video/65xhVIK1Vys/видео.html
I just bought a 2020 Silverado 2500HD Duramax LTZ, 3 days ago and was looking for tutorials to guide me through the tremendous amount options this vehicle has available. This is, by far, the best video I have seen on the Infotainment system. Well done, easy to follow and thorough. However, I do have one discrepancy. Mine does have the Teen Driver capability so the teens in my family will be out of luck, IF I let them drive it. Thanks! Great video!!
Thank you so much!! I did a video on my 2017 Sierra and figured people would want something more up to date. I'm glad this really helped you out. Do you have any questions?
Tech Examined Not right now. I just went out and set up my truck based on what I learned from you. Everything went very well thanks to you great tutorial. If I get a question, I’ll be sure to let you know!
There's one great feature you didn't touch on. The split screen! I usually use it with nav and whatever other app I'm using. Go into nav (or any app that shows on screen) then hit the home button twice. It will show the nav and the last used app side by side. Nice to use with your phone or sat radio.
The folding mirrors work when you double click the lock button and hold it down for a few seconds. When you double click the unlock button and hold it down, all the windows roll down.
13:25 remote lock feedback, it should also have the option to press the button once for lights only, press the button twice and you’ll get lights and horn. Some older models have this option.
I like your youtube site and subscribed to it. My Q is; where is the date displayed on a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali? Not where it is to set auto or manual.
We just traded in our 2016 Sierra.... you could also pause, start song over or go back a few songs.... just got a 2019 Denali.... CAN'T do it. Ya never realize how much you love something until you can't do it any longer. I was super bummed
What’s up buddy, quick question, I have a 2021 GMC Sierra and for some reason the Market Place app doesn’t open and the screen tells me it’s having an issue and to try again later? Any suggestions about that? It’s been about 3 weeks.
Question for ya. I have 2021 GMC Denali with keyless ignition. When I had my 2016 Silverado, I could use the key to use the Acc function to turn on my Onstar hotspot for my computer. How do I keep the power on to use the onstar data plan with the keyless ignition? It only stays lit for about 5 minutes.
Great video, just have a question. It's a little thing, but something I noticed. I recently test drove the 2020 Acadia. I brought along a usb flash drive to test the sound for that, which was excellent. I was NOT able to see a graphic of the music while using the flash drive, however, like I'm able to on some other vehicles like the 2020 Highlander. Is there a setting so I can see the graphic or is it just not available? It's nice when using satellite radio when I can see a image of the artist or some other graphic. I was hoping to have it while using the USB as well. If you can answer my question, that would be great, thanks.
@Tech Examined, would you be able to go over the "Apps" feature? I cannot get my stupid apps page to load. It's constantly telling me I'm not connected to a network though I am. It's driving me insane. I can't get any apps installed because it will not "connect to network"
Any way to display SiriusXM Favorites easier? Seems like you have to go through settings to get to them. Hoping they would show as soon as I clicked SiriusXM. My old Roady radio is simple - was able to set it up to just punch one of the 10 preset buttons
Watching a 23:29 of a internal car system, not being in to cars. Learned a thing or two, that I will probably never use 🤣🤣🤣 but I’ve gotta support MTP when I get the YT notification. Cya next time...
Have a 2020 Silverado touchscreen doesn't work only works if you drive it awhile took back to dealership turned vehicle off when they got it it worked did not work next day got email from OnStar say my location changed several times any suggestions
I have a '21 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab, 2.7. Just this morning, I started my truck and the screen was black but I had sound from a radio station I was listening to. I couldn't adjust the sound. It was stuck at that volume. I couldn't turn the radio off. I don't know what it could be. I shut off the truck and turned the key back on slowly before restarting. It then worked fine. I think something is wacky with the sequencing. I've noticed many people having issues with this system.
I have the same operating system as I have the new generation 2019 but that one seems different it's got a thumbnail for XM radio and it's got a setting also mine doesn't have that option I checked for software updates and it says it's up to date so I don't know if I'm going to be getting that newer version, I certainly hope so.
I drive a 2020 Chevy Traverse. How do you link or set up the users with key fob. Me and wife are set up but still stay at last driver. Am I doing something wrong?
How do you use SiriXM"? I get "No SiriusXM signal" after subscribe and obtaining a Sirius XM account. Chat session with SiriUsXM did resolve. They kept telling me to turn on Satellite access. I find that capability in the settings. Help?
I have a 2020 Chevy Traverse. How do users work with key fob. I did mine and wife but still stays at last driver info and settings. Is there something I’m missing or not doing right ?
I just bought a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 and have ny Android phone bluetoothed to the truck. My problem is i don't get any notification when I receive a text or the ability to read /reply to it?? Is there something I need to do in settings on the truck or my phone?
Everyone like to be comfortable so if you have a friend someday, they may feel more comfortable changing their setting on the screen while an older person may choose buttons. The Vale mode looks the glove box and tailgate. There is no redundant system, only two ways of doing the same thing. Your 2019 radio won’t get louder with the vehicles speed, humm! That’s funny considering the VSS signal is shared with the radio. This used to be called RDS with the song, artist and information provided, so if you need it louder, turn the feature on for “Driver #1” in personalization! Like the screen or want the buttons on the bottom, have a tech program it to Europe, Dubai or Egypt, Both Europe and Australia use English language and prompts. Their are tons of thing you can do, like the “Teenager Mode”, the truck becomes a mother hen, controlling speed, awareness thru speakers, lanes thru seat, more sensitive to stopping, backing up, all kinds of things. I know you don’t own it and you spent hours talking with a dealer employee to prep, but tech’s check this stuff out during per-delivery checks, sales have videos so they can learn and the guys who diagnose and fix them can tell you about the battery that comes with “ON-STAR” and it won’t work if turned over and antenna is torn off, but will transmit last know location if the SIR is deployed, etc.
I downloaded my nav contacts from my 2017 Buick Encore to a usb thumb drive. I could delete and upload them back on the 2017 vehicle. I bought a 2020 Encore gx and I cannot find how to upload my saved nav contacts to the new system. Any help would be appreciated. Great video above.
Hi, question if you don't mind. Does the system support text messaging on its own or can it only receive and reply to text messages through Apply Carplay and Android Auto only?
I’m far from happy with the huge navigation bug or so what I’m being told is a bug that GM is working on. Have a 2020 Acadia for about a month and have to eject the SD card and reinsert pretty much anytime I want to use the navigation system. First GM product since the 1987 Sunbird my sister and I shared and so far not impressed with this bug. :( everything else is awesome.

matt nanney It’s not an app if you sign up for an account.. it will appear under the Audio portion with FM/AM... You can save money and sign up for just an internet account download the app on your phone and plug your phone in and the app will appear on your screen. HOWEVER, if you use your phone keep in mind it will use your data. So if you don’t have unlimited it could get bad if you use it a lot
They probably have but you have to go to the dealer and pay for an update. A lot of dealers will be lost. You have to explain your issue in detail then ask them to search the service notes. That's when they'll see the update and do it. Again most will charge you for this even though it should be free
I was there my brother ran across the street and talked to you he shook you and your camera mans hand we were going to the movies so you remember a group of four kids across the street
I would strongly recommend NOT buying a Chevy with this Infotainment 3 system. Full of bugs IMO, android auto fails to connect 50% of the time, blue tooth fails to auto-connect constantly. Great video buddy. Thanks for taking the time to make it. Very informative 💪🏽💯
Incredibly detailed full demo of the gm system. Awesome job!
