Ive owned a screen print and embroidery business for the last 6 years and this is the first ive heard someone dislike Gildan. Not top notch but certainly not bad. The bang for your buck is almost unbeatable.
On the older trucks with a high idle switch, it won’t work if the truck is at operating temp
When your trailer is connected and your truck is locked. If someone disconnects your trailer while the truck is locked the trucks alarm will go off
It won't let you turn on high idle once your truck is already up to temp it has to be cold
I tried mine today and I was able to turn on high idle after truck was at temp

Windows rolled down with key fob on my 15 Silverado and do also on my 16 Denali

On your 2020 Denali the High Idle setting has to be turned on in your infotainment settings. And I believe it only works to help warm up the truck on a cold start up.
e barke on, cruise on, then hold set. try that instead of double tapping cruise
thats how it works on the ram 4500
Elevated idle is for when you remote start the truck below 45 degrees it will rev the motor so it will heat up quicker
I spoke with the dealer in collinsville and they gave me some ridiculous lowball trade-in amount estimate for my 18 denali hd. Wont be going through them.

That high idle is for when the truck is cold. With it on when the truck is below a certain temp ( my 17 l5p is like 45 degrees) the truck will automatically high idle to warm it up.
E brake, park or neutral, cruise control on, then set....temp doesn't matter it will work if you have paid for the the switch to be active, if not trip to the dealer to activate the switch so then you can use it in summer to help cool the AC and winter to heat up more after the elevated idle ends

Windows not going up could be for like dogs or something or a safety thing about something getting stuck like someone’s hand
They could have just added pinch protection for the windows
Double tap open, windows down… double tap lock and the lil circle thingy under open button and Boom! Remote start with AC on

Oh and I believe the high idle is automatic once the outside temp drops below 50 or 40 degrees.
The 2020 Denali looks absolutely sick. Definitely much more appealing to the eye than its Chevy cousins.
Please, please, please do some audio leveling when you're doing your audio mixing! The music is piercingly loud compared to your voice. It's painful for us headphone users in particular, especially with the over-produced electronic music you like to use.

I have noticed in your videos that your older Silverado 2500hd duramax doesn't have the usual door side protection panels on them. Did you remove them yourself, and if you did, is there a video 📹 on that process, or did you have someone do that for you? My local dealer body shop wants around $1,000.
Elevated idle is winter mode if u turn heat on and it’s not hot enough it’ll kick on I think 6-800 rpm I have high idle I got everything u can get on one u hit parking break thin hit cruise button no double tapping the other button
And the cruse has to be on for high idle, so you are double tapping the wrong button.
If you hit the lock button on your remote while the windows are going down it will stop them so they don’t roll down all the way if you so choose and the faster you hit the lock button the less it will go down.
The windows won't roll back up because it's a safety regulation. I have an older BMW and it can do the same thing- hold the fob button down to roll them down, but they won't roll up. This is strictly an American regulation because the EU models can roll back up with the fob, but since America regulates this, that option is shut off at the factory. You can do some ECU tuning to turn it back on though.

Windows won't go up cause the windows down is a safety feature and ur high idle should also work engage park brake TURN CRUISE CONTROL ON then hit the cruise set/ resume button

try setting the park brake, press the cruise button once, then hit resume. thats how my dads 2019 L5P works

I have a 2019 GMC 3500HD that I just purchased and the dealer added the High Idle option before delivery It is an up-fit that can be done and you can use it even when the motor is up to temp. It is actually part of having a PTO on the truck so it can be used at any time
A remote window up feature is probably a safety issue... a kid or pet could get caught in the window if someone is not watching when putting up the windows away from the vehicle.
Do u know about chevy mylink where u can remote start the truck with your cell?
On my 2013 lml, you turn on elevated idle in settings, then put on park brake and push the cruise control set and it will idle up manually. However the truck will automatically idle up when cold.
Why my delally is by day it turns on all the lights even if the button is on automatic, should it only turn on the daylight?
Just make sure the cruise control is on .Don't tap the buttom twice just on. Then set parking brake and then press the cruise set. High idle should work. And it work at any temp.
Look into the app you can get from gm to crank your truck from anywhere and has GPS on it and you can change the ac or heat from your phone

I heard that the remote window closing feature on most cars is supposed to be disabled from the factory in the North American market due to a safety rule. So that a person doesn’t get a limb pinched in the window during the remote closing. That’s the case with BMW. Every BMW I ever owned, except my Z4, had the window closing disabled. The Z4 remote window closing function worked with the convertible top closing function, and it was sort of a loophole to allow remote window closure. Both foreign and domestic vehicles built for the European market generally have this feature available and enabled from the factory.
Where did you get the emblem on the grille? The white/silver looks so clean with the rest of the truck.
Your lml should have almost all those features including the side mirrors and all windows down. My sunroof opens as well
Climate controls, auto seat heater and stirring wheel heater on. This way when you remote start in really cold weather, the seat and wheel heater will come on. Does this on my 16 sierra 1500.

Do you also no that when turning traction control off hold the button down a few more seconds and another light will pop up and say stabilizer traction off then you can burn some rubber .

Does the Pro Tailgate power up. In the manual it says Tap the X2 and hold the X2 and it should raise? No go. Maybe I don’t have it. Tailgate powers down though. ?????

I would guess your high idle will happen when the engine is cold with e brake on, cruise on, set it, it probably will high idle.... at least that’s how our Thomas Cummins school bus high idle happens

My 2019 Denali HD has all those same features. Minus the fancy camera features because GM was to cheap to include them for the 2019 HD.

I know that my high idle in my 2017 doesnt turn on unless it is below 37 degrees outside...
My Acura TSX had the same thing with the windows being able to roll all of them down with the key fob. It made no sense to me either that I could roll them down but not up. Although mine I could put the key in the door lock and roll them up which I know you don’t have a key but just a thought.

My volvo c30 did the same thing with the windows... was always curious why they didnt do it for both up and down
Hold the ignition button for 10 seconds till it turns green it makes it to where it will not turn off unless you press it again

My 2018 accord had that. I had to use the key and turn/hold it in the lock position to roll-up the windows. Sometimes i had to double tap then hold it in the lock position. I don't know about the new sierra, but it might work.

No look on your dash for the cruise light then turn the high idle on all new diesel's have it
No more window auto up with remote anymore because of pinching hazard. I guess a kid or a dog got caught in the window at one point and government said no more. Dodge took away remote window down because some ppl had the windows go down during rain storms and ruined their interiors.
