यह देखा गया है की Frozen Shoulder का प्रमाण post covid बढ़ गया है। कंधा तीन हड्डियों का बना होता है : हंसली, कंधे की हड्डी और प्रगंडिका और उसके साथ ही मास्पेशिया याने की Arm Bone, Shoulder Blade, और collar bone। Shoulder joint एक mobile joint है यानि की वह सबसे ज्यादा movements कर सकता है।
Frozen Shoulder होने से कंधे की movements करने में कठिनाइया होने लगती है। धीरे धीरे कन्धा जकड जाता है और movements painful होने लगती है।
Frozen shoulder stages -
1st stage - इसमें आपका shoulder pain करता है। ये stage 3 से 4 माहिनो तक चल सकता है।
2nd stage - इसमें pain कम और stiffness ज्यादा महसूस होता है। यह stage 2 से 3 महीने तक हो सकता है।
3rd stage - इसे Stage of Resolution भी कहते है।
यह बहुत जरुरी है की patients जल्द से जल्दी अपने doctor की सलाह ले अगर उनको कोई भी symptom दिख रहा हो जो Frozen Shoulder से जुड़ा हुआ है।
40 - 50 के उम्र के लोगो में muscle injuries का प्रमाण ज्यादा दिखाई देता है। जिन patients को diabetes, heart problems, thyroid problems है उनको Frozen Shoulder होने का ज्यादा खतरा होता है। Frozen Shoulder की एक ख़ास बात ये है की Pain in shoulder / कंधे में दर्द होने लगता है जो रात में सोते वक्त बढ़ने लगता है।
Frozen Shoulder Treatment -
Frozen Shoulder की initial treatment में डॉक्टर्स medicines लेने की या physiotherapy कराने की सलाह देते है।
अगर Frozen Shoulder बढ़ गया हो तो ऐसा patients को Hydro dilatation procedure करना पड़ता है।
जो patients physiotherapy या Hydro dilatation procedure से ठीक नहीं होते उन्हें arthroscopic surgery करने की सलाह डॉक्टर्स देते है।
