The PA rudder is better for Marsh shallow water. Everyone tells me they cut back the outbqck rudder because ir is too long. Also I love that the PA rudder is further into the hull. No need for the protector to keep it from scuffing up my P/U bed
Those are very nice kayaks. I think I would be happy with either one. 😂 I'm okay with my compass. I like the weight of the compass and the weight of the compass was the major factor for me. Great job Aliex 😎
Think if I went Hobie again, I'd go the new outback. The pa seat is the only real advantage in my opinion. The outback I feel is more versatile and you can go on so many different bodies of water. I didn't like my pa12 for Rivers. Just seemed to get swept away too much. And not ponds because of the weight. Wasn't worth hauling all that weight for a small body of water. But honestly looking at old town topwater pdl. A lot cheaper and seems really nice.
Hello Aliex, congratulations really nice video. Both are wonderful, but I hope a guiding to be able to make this dream come true, having the Outback model! I live in Italy, and would like to use it for sea bass spinning in the lagoon, or in any case in medium-low waters where one of the main characteristics of kayaking is needed ... The silence!
Alex from your honest Opinion after I saw your last video water with the pro angler the. Pro angler will do horrible off shore If you flip the pro angler it will suck in water the out back will not wich do you prefer the out back or pro angler the out back has small trunk less water will go in the out back correct
Great video Alex’ I have an outback 15 model, and I feel that I need more leg room, specially when I have a fish on ‘ I am really liking the PA 12, as now we have the boom dox, also the C tug cart, both are amazing in carting’ so the weight of the PA has become now a no issue topic ‘ I’m thinking of getting a PA 12’ looks like a beast’ what more could you ask for when your off shore ? What’s your thoughts ?
Dealing with the kayak weight is all about the tenique and the right gear, make sure you have the sand wheels on both carts, boonedox also has a PA front cart. The PA 12 has so much room, a super comfy seat and rod storage, it will be a huge upgrade over the 15 ob, won't paddle as well but if you never have to paddle
I don't really find lifting heavy stuff a problem until you try positioning the kayak with smooth surfaces. It's a pain to load in a hurry. Something to consider for long term use. It must be fun and functional for you. Great video bro. Lost some weight bro?
Hey Aliex get your hands on that new slayer 12XC , man that's a nice yak i only wish they had the pedals for an option if people wanted them i would have one , tempted to get one anyway...lol
Love your vids, Aliex. I'm in the process of deciding between both these kayaks. Weight isn't such a huge issue for me since I have a trailer. But I'd like to hear your take on how these kayaks compare in terms of speed. In your opinion, do they both get up and go equally on the water? Is the outback faster or are the boats similar? Does the PA 12 feel ang harder to peddle? Trying to demo both boats at the same time, but its challenging to find a dealer with both in stock right now where I live.
+kayakangler76 outback is longer and wider should be faster we haven't test it yet I can hit 6phm on the outback briefly I have all the storage I need, the Pa12 is a pain to paddle for sure
Hello Aliex. I've been enjoying your videos🤗 I don't own a kayak but looking to get one soon. if you were to have only one kayak and planning on fishing out of it in lakes, bays, and ocean, which one would recommend? 1. Stability? 2. Long day on the water Fatigue aspect😅? Thanks in advance😁
Just looking at them side by side the Outback looks faster and probably turns better. The PA looks like a tank and reminds me of a Titan. PA looks way more comfortable and more boat like. (Stable) if I had a choice I'd get an Outback for offshore.
Sarge's Adventures It only can be done on the PA , because on the outback the rear handle bolts inserts coincide with the same width of the regular hobie cart arms , only using another narrower or wider cart arm’s it can be done. Watch the video of the PA and take the measurements for the outback and you’ll figure it out. I appreciate this mod that Aliex brings, because most people don’t buy the PA due to the difficulty of putting the hobie cart on it , now with this mod , it’s a piece of cake 👍👍👍
Hey Alex, I’m an outback fan’ but now I’m leaning on the PA ‘ what a boat ! it would be the perfect fishing machine “ I just bought a PA 12 can’t wait to take it out ‘ and see the difference to the outback ‘ what do you think ?
Aliex Folgueira I have an older model’ probably can’t compare ‘ but one thing foreshore, I love the space, and the comfort of the PA ‘ so high in the water, and makes you feel safe’ noticed on the new outback it’s actually low in the water ‘ for me that is to low’ for off shore fishing, what do you think ?
I had it offshore in nasty weather and was fine, the 19 version compared to the old one is night and day. The PA does have a way better seat and more space but man, you have a lot of space on the outback already
I love your videos Alex ‘ I live in Australia, I have a massive obsession in the kayak fishing sport’ Looks like the US is a better place to fish ? it would be awsome fishing with you guys ‘ love it !
Hi.can I place propeller instant of hobie fins? I have hobie kayak so my question is: can I change the fins to propeller? And if I do,what kind of propeller. Thank you
What are you talkin maybe a 25 to 30 pound weight difference comparing it to the weight capacity what it will hold the PA kind of sounds a lot better it'd probably be better in rough water cuz it's a little higher and wider and what the selling writer it definitely would be better with the cell than the Outback thanks for the video great comparisons
@@jldfishing6622 the outback is the best kayak when it comes to handling rough waters, the pro angler can't compare to the outback especially offshore.
Never been 1st before on a vid to comment.
Congrats you are the first 😁

Two great looking kayaks.
We are getting spoiled 😂
Both are very nice kayaks, I like the PA 12, if anything because of the space and especially the seat..Great video Aliex..
Soooo much space on that pa it is crazy 🤪

Well the outback will be easier to upright of course, only time I say don't get it is when you are over 6.2 and 270#
I’m leaning towards the PA 12. Nice job Alex.
It is a fishing machine for sure the PA 12

I've always thought the pa 12 was better. Out back has better gear tracks, speed and turning... but the pa is better all around I feel
Lots of space, better seat more options
