      Robert, apart from the h.pylori bit there, you've literally described my last 5 years almost to a tee. I had an abundance of symptoms that came about following triple IV antibiotic therapy for a 'fluid collection'. A couple of the most debilitating symptoms were the inability to stand upright for more than 10 minutes or so, and a swollen abdomen, with or without food. You're definitely not alone with those symptoms you're getting mate, do you also experience things like poor circulation, poor temperature regulation and a very low tolerance to any forms of stress?

    Hi is faecal microbial transplantation (FMT) good for ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s is it successful and are there side effects

    • @ChrisGascoigne1
      @ChrisGascoigne1  3 года назад +1

      Hi iSY3D I think FMT can be hit and miss for sufferers of IBD. I think it's more likely to have a beneficial impact for those with Ulcerative colitis who's large colon is the issue. However for those with bacterial overgrowths/translocation in the small intestine, I don't think FMT is going to resolve it

    Good topic..bro..
    You need to be your own doctor.. and find out what sets you off..
    Stress is a big factor as l have said this before...
    Did you have a lot of stress in your life before your lBD...?

      Cheers aaron - Haha yes that's the dream in the future, definitely to be my own doctor and not a mainstream one! Stress is massive in a physiological sense to bringing on flares. I was a very relaxed and chilled guy during the last years of school when my IBD came about. The only 2 real big stressors I think contributed to it were: long distance hikes carrying loads of weight in a poorly fitted rucksack and multiple travel immunisations received in a short period of time

    Hi Chris my son gets gassy after food and X-rays show up acidity it’s seems he maybe needs a test to confirm do you if the sugar sachets for testing are safe for IBS patients ? Also what do you do address of tests prove

    • @ChrisGascoigne1
      @ChrisGascoigne1  3 года назад

      The sugar should be safe Syed, he might just react with it if he has a bacterial overgrowth present causing a little bit of bloating/distention

    I have abdominal noises especially at night and I also have abdominal noise after. That noises are produced by SIBO or gas byproducts? Are Eggs included sulphur rich food such broccoli Brussels sprouts all brassica vegetables?

    • @ChrisGascoigne1
      @ChrisGascoigne1  3 года назад +1

      I think the gas is most likely a by-product from the sulphur rich foods reacting with the SIBO Abdi. Eggs and brassica vegetables have huge amounts of sulphur amino acids in them, definitely problematic foods for those with this issue!

    • @qardho25
      @qardho25 3 года назад

      @@ChrisGascoigne1 definitely you're right 100%. Scientifically Sibo are collection of different groups of microbial species make pathogenic and normal flora staying in the wrong organ formed plastic biofilm is hard broken, especially in small intestine is almost and then SIBO created a havoc of issues malabsorption glucose. Protein and even Fat because they digest our food up higher in small intestine. So we can't get chance to do this process before they release enzymes to detect what of food are coming down they are smarter than us and read every single substance with their DNA molecular structure

    This is a great list, AND I do still feel pretty strongly that testing is important. The treatment varies depending on which type of SIBO you have, and you can't tell this without testing...

    • @ChrisGascoigne1
      @ChrisGascoigne1  2 года назад

      Thanks for your comment Confluence Nutrition - absolutely! The breath test could distinguish between hydrogen, sulphur and hydrogen sulphide producing species, but even the GI MAP test looks into even more detail when it comes to the exact species and their counts. I'm still very much on the fence about treatment, personally I'm not a massive fan of the antibiotics approach or even the natural herbs approach - many things that have helped me involve some of the basics: exercise, breathing and also functional neurologic-based activities; but of course, every case might be different!
