Great build. Huge appreciation to builder. Friggin’ top notch with amazing attention to detail. Loved from 14:03 to 17:23. Down to the mm and degree. Great moment at 20:53 when he quietly acknowledges (and well deserved) a fine build. 🤜🏻🤛🏽😎🔥

I really enjoyed watching this. So relaxing, yet the great skills and meticulous precision like the measurements of the saddle and position that rider will assume is the work of a a true custom tailor besides being an awesome mechanic.. fantastic!
Saudações do 🇧🇷
Holy Macaroni, this IS a tutorial of how a pro really works. (I would not dare to cut the steerer on the bike for once...) But the detail to achieve perfection is stunning!
Yes, yes, yes, another wonderfully shot video from this channel. Watching this is somehow both relaxing and informative in equal measure. This is a man I would happily have index my gears - he seems completely at ease with the task at hand, an absolute pro. Why can't he work at my local bike shop ? What a privilege - your job involving building up the bike of the World Champion. Chapeau to you sir, and do please keep this excellent content coming. Perhaps next stop is to knock on the door of UAE team Emirates and have them build up a Colnago C64 for you ? Would be lovely to see a spot of Italian bling !!
Loving these videos. Beautifully shot, really, really impressive and great insight into how pros set up their bikes. Interesting, Mads is the same height as me but is riding a 58cm frame. Ive always ridden a 54cm (or a 56cm if I was on a Trek). He must have long legs with a 79.4 saddle height!
kudos to the mechanic for being so thorough, but it doesn’t really speak to Trek’s quality control that he has to re-thread the through-axle and brake mounts, as well as face the brake mounts
That‘s a custom paint job and it may just be the policy that the mechanic that does end control / assembly does these steps (and not the paint shop, that is).
I do that too, especially on flat mount surfaces where bits of paint can cause misalignment, except I use a facing tool instead of a file. Paint do get in the threads and using a tap is for good measure. In fact it's very common in road disc frames of any brand.
Stunning build. What an impressive and skilled mechanic. Mesmerising watch. Kudos
I was fascinated by your polite, accurate and perfect assembly.
Thank you for your positive feedback!
This is the first dream build that I see with a sram crankset running smoothly and with pendulum effect.
pro mechanics actually understand preload, also this is BB30 which is much better than their GXP stuff
@@dvoob you have it backwards there, sir. Their GXP stuff was better. Ask Hambini.

Watched this with my wife and our anxiety level dropped to 0 during that half hour ! Just like a day at the spa ! Awesome build and great music 😜
Good to hear our dreambuilds seem to be just as relaxing for you as it is for us ;).
This mechanic has been one of my favorite so far.
Dan, my favorite too!
spiritually meditative. Boy, you know what your doing.
Great you like it! :)
Boy I've never seen anyone go the extra mile and re tap bolt holes! Love it! Beautiful bike for sure!
It's 5 minutes in top, but you'll never have to worry about it ever again 👍
The attention to detail is amazing 👍🏾
Just watched this before 10 hours of the most restful sleep I have ever had...thanks...👍😴
And heres me still has trouble taking the back wheel off and on
just service your bike and you will be better and better :)
Putting the gear into the smallest cog usually helps xD (been there, and screwed up my deraileur hanger...)
I took out out yesterday, and my discs are rubbing although it's a thru axle :/

I love watching things I can't afford.
That was thee most violent hacksaw job I’ve ever seen.
Love how the mechanic build the bike and how perfectionist he is for the bar tape part. Climbing bike now is a bit aero. Technology sure is moving.
I salute your professionalism.
Fantastic job and really relaxing to see the set up👌
Wow. He takes great pride in his work. The way his put the bar tape on around the hoods, to make it 'just right'.

Obra de arte 🤩 Brasil 🇧🇷
never seen someone cut the steerer tube while on the bike.

Good point, all of that scobs/sawdust falling in to the head tube bearings
IKR, I was like wtf is he doing. That is rough handling IMO
@@Bedasek tbf he is working on a bike like that for a reason, he is obviously a very good mechanic or else he would not be working on that bike
This is because the brake lines are already routed and can´t be removed and re installed easily
Perfect

kudos to the mechanic for being so thorough, but it doesn’t really speak to Trek’s quality control that he has to re-thread the through-axle and brake mounts, as well as face the brake mounts
He wouldn't have to. It's just to be a 100% shure the thread is perfect on the Pro Bikes.
That‘s a custom paint job and it may just be the policy that the mechanic that does end control / assembly does these steps (and not the paint shop, that is).
Un mecanico como cualquier otro siendo de trek esperaria un poco mas de delicadeza mas con la bicicleta del campeon del mundo
@@roadbikechannel
Negative. You don't re-thread an already threaded hole if you don't have to. One mistake and the entire frame is wasted.
I do that too, especially on flat mount surfaces where bits of paint can cause misalignment, except I use a facing tool instead of a file. Paint do get in the threads and using a tap is for good measure. In fact it's very common in road disc frames of any brand.
