If this is considered ASMR, then I finally get what it is all about. There is something incredibly satisfying watch a pro build such an amazing machine. Incredible.
Is it possible to start adding a list of the specific assembly products used in these pro build videos? Greases, tools, etc. These videos are entertaining but they're most notably a great study for evaluating and refining our own amateur processes, based on pro team practices rather than our local bike mechanic who may or may not have the same knowledge and standards.
the tools aren't really that special. a good torque wrench and a decent kit of hex keys and your good to go. jumbo visma uses the products from dynamic, mainly the assembly past pro (purple) and the carbon assembly paste (red). for the brakes they use the sram dot grease 👍 the really special kit is from bike fitting.com but for that you have to get a really good bike fit
@@mikekingery9913 dot brake fluid isn't too kind to scan contact, but it's not too big a deal if you wash your hands thoroughly and there really isn't that much with the sram bleeding kit 👍
Great build with alot of pressure on the mechanic: THATS ROGLIC´S BIKE! I´ld triple check the check and check again for peace of mind. Also astonishing weight at the end for a full TT bike I almost gasped at it. Cervelo is not playing with 2023s lineup. Thank you!
Spent about 500 miles on it and so far so good. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA Pros:1. Very light2. Solid quality build3. Fast delivery: It arrived 5 weeks earlier than expected.4. Easy assemblyJust a few cons but nothing major:1. Cheap tin tubes and had flat on first day... but not a big deal. I replaced the tubes.2. Seat is a bit uncomfortable but that's pretty much the same situation with most bikes.3. Seat post is a bit long/high for a smaller size 48 bike - had to saw 2 inch off to fit properly. The lowest setting is too high. The post locking system does not seem to hold well (perhaps because I saw 2 inch off).4. wheels are not tubeless compatible (from what I can tell)
Love seeing SRAM components on all the JV builds and, of course, during racing on the top prorider bikes. I am sure the new/revised Red group will finally close the minimal weight gap to DA and the efficiency topic is pointless with the mega chainrings they run on pro level. Nice move from SRAM.
What I see: - powermeter that you have to throw away once the chainring is worn too much -blips that have to be botched with epoxy onto the brake levers... seriously does sram not sell hydro levers with integrated buttons? -if the pros don't ride casettes with 10tooth cogs, why sell them? who needs a 10 tooth cog anyways, if not for the person that has a power output of a pro not a shimano fanboy at all... their power meters suck for instance. But how can you watch this and be like... "yeah SRAM!"
@Horstelin I get your points. Some will for sure be covered by the upcoming update. If you sponsor the best team in the world, you have to develop and deliver. The pm topic is made-up IMHO, the Red chaining hardly wears, and to invest 400eur (exchange program) every 3-4 years is ok for me. I just enjoy Sram getting some attention now, and I like supporting the underdog (..of groupsets in the pro peloton)
Their chain is garbage (though that can be remedied), but I will never buy a bike or groupset with their 10t, super compact chainrings bs. And the PM problem isn't only the cost, it's the increased amount of landfill when either the electronics or chainrings need replacing
It's used to bed in the discs and the brake pads. normally you would ride the bike up to 30km/h and then brake till you stop for several times. it's a little easier with that one
@@bikes7777 we produce all our content ourself and it was huge honor and opportunity to have the chance to film there. you won't find any other channel that has access to the teams like we do. yes, it's a lot of jumbo visma, but it's alle different bike from different riders.

I enjoyed seeing all the TJV Cervelo builds. Still weird seeing SRAM components on them but of course still nice nonetheless.
shimano fell off, i rode shimano for 20 years and had my first like low end Sram apex and it felt better then my dura ace. never goin back.
Si vous allez dans toutes les Teams, ça va être du plaisir à visionner vos vidéos😉😉
Wspaniała praca jaką Wykonał pan Mechanik 👊 🔥 🙋 ✌ Pozdrawiam

This is the real professional bike mechanic.
Indeed! None of that BS with the fancy colored rubber gloves…..like they are doctors.

Real professionals don’t use adjustable crescent wrenches.
Absolute dream bike for me
Time to sit back with a coffee and enjoy!
So satisfying to watch !! would love to own 1, 1 day
Can’t breath ❤
🤗
love these kinda Videos, but i would also be interested in a uncut video of the build or Videos for specific parts!
Ready for Tirreno

Where do you place the blimp box
When will SRAM finally make a less bulky brake/shifter for the TT bike? This one hurts my eyes
Do you know what the yellow oil coated on the oil pipe is
I really like this BGM.Who know what the BGM's name?

I can’t find a saddle model name on it.. please let me know which Fizik it is… thanks
16:05 Sawing and filing carbon fiber with no breathing protection, vacuum, or at least water to prevent the dust from getting airborne 👀
real life... 🙈
So where did he put the blip box? Completely skipped over that.
Does anyone know what the name of the place where this video was recorded is?
Black brake calipers? Is that the now Force? 😊
no s900 aero calipers for the sram red aero groupset
Hello, where can I get one of these bikes?
Can I ask what he is using the roller for at the end of the video? Testing the bite point of the brakes? Cheers

@@roadbikechannel thanks, appreciate the reply.
Where did the Blip Box go? And bar end shifters?
those were already built into the armrests he used.
19:36 for who is the red bike? Bottom left?
it's the bike for the wearer of the maglia rosa in the giro d'italia. so they had it ready looooong before the giro even started ;)
😍
What’s the saddle in this video? I’ve never seen it before in fizik🤔
🤫 don't tell the others...
What is the gauge in use at 19:20 for the rear derailleur?
for exact distance of pulley to cassette, you can adjust that with the screw on back of derailleur
What do they use to remove grease residue from carbin fibre frame??
99,9% isopropylakohol
Lab71 next pleaseee
Sad to see that even JV stopped using the base bar grip originally installed on the P5 and just puts normal bare Tape. Killer build otherwise.
Moyeux dt240 même pas des 180?
Déjà remarqué ça sur l’autre vidéo avec le vélo de J.vingegaard
Les 240 sont plus robustes et plus rigides, et à peine plus lourdes que les 180.
Is that a new fizik tt saddle?
it's seem to be ! can't find any info about it, but look very nice, and better than the mistica!
Looks like it 😬
For me cervelo is no.1 bike in the word
you might be on to something 😃
Friction paste on the bottom bracket cups.... ??? @5:45
yes, it's carbon paste but it's not gonna damage the frame and is used to prevent noises from the bb.
Het derde filmpje van TJV waar carbon wordt gezaagd zonder bescherming.
Nee, de vierde 😬
Single Chainring, Why do you leave the front derailleur Mount in the Frame? Aero Desaster…! Nice build anyway…
It's there for a chain guide which didn't make it in time for the video
Installs front mech clamp but no front mech or chain guide. I’m going to lose sleep over that
Same thought. It’s not a big deal to add it when you switch to 2x - rare these days for a TT, though.
They're running chain guides which didn't make it in time for the video 🙄😅
