@Kendra Richardson I'd like to see you do better, compared to most non-hollywood B-movies, this looks fantastic. My guess is you're either a competitor budget film maker who's jealous, a "if it ain't Hollywood it's shit" believer or you're just a troll and an asshole. Either way you're probably totally forgettable, unloved and not fun at parties.

@Kendra Richardson yeah and not every film team is a multi billion company that can put millions upon millions into making a film.. I don't know anything about these guys but as I'm aware I believe these are fan films so probably would put the budget around 70-100k.. now look at the new avatar films budget which is 250 million. Respect the smaller teams and try have a fun watch if you enjoy the previous F13s.

It probably would be...on a screen larger than my phone. I wish I could see it another way. It’s a shame these good folks don’t do more to be accessible. Like the first film, I would have loved to have known about the campaign, contributed, and bought a Blu-ray.
Considering its not from a major film production studio, its got some eerie momments and good jump scares
this looks really impressive it’s ironic no major film studio doesn’t understand how to do a real Friday the 13th Film but, fans that are also filmmakers understand the source material better then the people fighting for the copyright/license 👍👍👍👍👍

the thing with Friday the 13th is, in my opinion while i LOVE them, there has never actually been a good one; unlike the nightmare on elm street or halloween franchises. so I haven't seen this yet, but it isn't even a stretch for this to have equal merit as others in the franchise, and this actually looks solid im kinda hyped to watch

Just watched the first Vengeance film. It is by far the BEST friday film post Part 6. So much better than JTGH and X. The only issue i have is age of two characters. According to the death certificate for Elias, he was born in 1922. Making him 95 in this movie. The only way this would work is if it is somehow explained that Elias is not a living person, but is a zombie like his boy. Of course people live to 95, but this guy was obviously 50 to 60. The other issue was witht he sherriffs age, I dont tknow how things work in the USA, but would a sherriff really still be working at 80???? but anyway, congrats on making a film thats better than at least 5 of the official films 🙂
It is alluded to that Elias uses 'dark magic' through the 'book of the dead' to resurrect jason, as well as slow down his own aging process, hence why he doesnt look 95. As far as the sherrif goes... It's a small town so maybe a suitable replacement hasn't surfaced, or he simply hadn't decided to retire yet. Cheers!

I have part one on blu ray, and it is one of my favs out of the whole series, even if it isn't official, it's canon to ME dammit. I love the lore dive, and I love the portrayal of Elias.

I just finished watching Vengeance 1 and I must say that I'm very disappointed with the lack of proper character exploration, especially with the introduction of Elias Voorhees as a central character. I hope Vengeance 2 can fix that, because I really want to know more about Elias connection with the Necronomicon and more about the Voorhees family dynamic before Jason's drowning.
But in general I really appreciate the whole project, it fits seemingly in the lore and in my opinion puts the franchise in a much, much better direction than Part 7 did. ✌

So excited to finally have Friday the 13th back. We've only got 12 movies so far but now he's back!! Only this time it looks even cheaper and somehow worse acting. I really hope this movie has Jason walking around killing people. Hollywood hasn't given us enough of that so finally small time indie filmmakers will. Support indie filmmaking. Even when it's a sequel to a bloated garbage franchise.
