No lubrication of the bottom bracket bearings and putting the bottom brackets on too hard or over torquing them. I have a BCA SC29 that I can't get the bottom bracket fixed cup off of now. Bought the right tool and ended up stripping or rounding off the fixed cup and if I have t take it somewhere to have it removed then it's probably going to cost me more then the bike's worth. It started out with some noise and strange movement in the crank when peddling so I figured that I take it apart and see if it needed to be re-lubed and tightened or per-loaded only to find out that it was bone dry in the bottom bracket and bearings.

This is the second time I've seen the inside of the factory the other time was on Kev Central the machine that chews the wheels in a simple sentence just amazing I don't know what the current lineup is but I would consider the BCA 29 I don't think it's in production right now in fact I'm going to check there is a Genesis equivalent that wasn't production as well but it was assembled in China

Thoroughly enjoy my Ebike but customer service sucks. I paid $350 for an extra battery. It wouldn't work and I have been fighting with Kent to get a replacement for 2 months. I took battery to Autozone for recycling (like they told me to) , sent a receipt, photo of battery and serial number plus copy of receipt. I talked to them and they said letter from Autozone manager was not enough. They insisted Batteries Plus would provide receipt. I had went to 3 area Battery Plus and all said they would provide receipt for the battery per se, but not with specific serial number and brand. Customer service insisted they would. Now I am stuck with a $350 non funcioning battery!

Don't give up or let them get away with it. Keep fighting with them.

Waow. A very impressive factory technology. Why build outdated technology bikes? You’re expecting to take the very low end segment back from Chinese industry. Why not also use those skills to build affordable modern bikes and compete with famous brands that have delocalised?

Looks ripe for labour saving, looks like a UK car manufacturing plant from the 1970's with 3 people doing 1 job..

The wheel building machine is wild. But please consider what you're making. You're wasting resources and contributing to pollution to build outdated and weak parts for example the 7 speed free hubs and frames still using V brake post mounts. These garbage bikes meet your bottomline and sell for some profit but if you stop making junk and actually designed modern bikes and parts the profits will come in greater margins. In short, stop short selling these cheap designs and inferior products just to make ends meet and give the consumers a fair and valuable product. You're already making them in the US which is hard, take the next step to set the example for others that you can not only make them here but make them better than anywhere else.
