For decades, the Chinese have been taught by name brand manufacturers on how to build these products along with all the tools needed. So it was only a matter of time for them to get in on the action. Back in the 1990s we were rebuilding vehicle trim and bumpers that required rechroming, it was a long and complex process that includes cleaning and dipping a specific part into a vat of chromium-based solution. As the new u.s. regulations started to take effect and drive up cost, it was no longer profitable for us. I can only say what I’ve seen was very good and you can maybe try further with customer support
Probably because China doesn’t have that many people that are that big so the market is so small for that size, the cost (a new mold, layup, testing etc) won’t live up to the revenue of a few sold bikes… (I think that is the reason..)

I worked in the manufacturing industry. This test is carried out in the R&D stage. If every single piece is tested, he probably meant every prototype. If this is a part of production QC, not every single one will be tested.
It’s what he told me. Tbh We were kind of questioning it and tried to calculate how many they would have to do in a day. I’m going to ask again 👍🏻 I am SURE that every handlebar and front fork is checked by X-ray! They have a massive new X-ray machine now in operation

Also hearing from bad customer service after 2 years for a replacement fork (which isn't available anymore). Despite this brand marketing video through a bike influencer, It still makes me doubt to buy one of these. Change my mind.
There are always some negative experiences so I won’t deny whatever you’re saying. (Look at all the problems big brands like trek, Cannondale and socialized goes through so it’s not specific for Winspace..)
I can only say what I’ve seen was very good and you can maybe try further with customer support
Geeewellldig Jasper 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼ik heb me vaak afgevraagd hoe deze frames gemaakt werden
why the underling music oh the content is not enough
Why no 63cm Frames How about us tall riders
Probably because China doesn’t have that many people that are that big so the market is so small for that size, the cost (a new mold, layup, testing etc) won’t live up to the revenue of a few sold bikes…
(I think that is the reason..)
@@jasperverkuijlI’m 6’ 3” and the 540 T1500 it ok for me. If I had known I would have ordered an extra set of spacers fit the bars (also Winspace) as I could do with the bars slightly higher.
Excellent tour Jasper..!!! Thank you Winspace..!!! They make frames for Giant, Trek and many other name brands. Please check the bottom brackets for a perfect fit …. Hambini will be happy…. LOL
Not sure what you mean.. ?
they don’t produce for giant or trek…
Sheer determination to produce exceptional products
Really impressed with this, thank you and thank you winspace 👌
Glad you like it!
🎵 I’m number 1. I did it before. I’ll do it again…. I’m number 1! 🎵
Hopefully they will be a major tour sponsor and people will stop thinking chinese frames are junk...maybe
They are sponsoring a women’s team. They did Giro this year and are looking to get into the Tour de France next year 🙌🏻
It's the same in the japanese culture for the number four. Chi, number 4 is very unlucky.
🙌🏻👍🏻
21:34 my man reppin dat 1:1 Moncler like a boss

Nice!
“can we show some machine not working?"
"Errh...no..."
😂why am I getting a Borat vibe...
Hahahaha it was quite funny actually
Great work Jasper!!! Also great from Winspace, definitely the leading Chinese bike brand in the western market right now!
Thanks mate
Very interesting
Thanks for watching
as much as chris seems cool...every piece is not even remotely believable,,,
What part is not believable?
@@jasperverkuijl the stress test for every handlebar. they make so many of them when will they ever finish packing them if they gotta wait 10000 cycles for each
I worked in the manufacturing industry. This test is carried out in the R&D stage. If every single piece is tested, he probably meant every prototype. If this is a part of production QC, not every single one will be tested.
@@pinkbearoscar Oh ok got it...👍
It’s what he told me. Tbh We were kind of questioning it and tried to calculate how many they would have to do in a day.
I’m going to ask again 👍🏻
I am SURE that every handlebar and front fork is checked by X-ray! They have a massive new X-ray machine now in operation
Jasper!! So very well done! Thank you, Love this!
Cool. Thanks for all the work this took
I wonder if the production factory company name was Adapt... Or Speeder .. or something else? (I know you cant/won't tell us)
Not it was a different one 😜
They need an endurance frame!
With threaded BB, external cables and 40 mm tyre clearance guess what - they will dominate the mass market.
With race frames, it's not the case.
Personally, I will buy two, for myself and my dad.
Riding their pair of wheels for 3 seasons now, very satisfied.
The c5 is their endurance bike. Just launched recently
Great vid Jas. You’re a natural👌Very educational & informative production buddy. I’ve been a Winspace fan for many years. Solid & trustworthy company. Hope they continue their great work 👍💪👍
Glad you enjoyed it
thank you Jasper for this very informative video ❤🚴🏻♀
My pleasure!
Hell yes. I would definitely consider purchasing one of these. Great video.
You should!🙌🏻🙌🏻
lol, nothing new here. Everything is made is china, not just carbon wheels.
Still Most people don’t know or think their favorite brand has its own factory in their own country..
Thanks for a very interesting video. Couldn't help noticing this: 13:26: lady in Winspace's own factory is wearing double gloves while handling epoxy prepreg. 31:19 lady in 3rd party frame factory is not using any gloves at all while handling prepreg. Wonder if this is some new type of prepreg ;-)
Yeah I don’t know tbh. Guess they should all be using gloves. I didn’t know it was a thing when I was there
Riding a bicycle on a motorway? Seriously?😂
Everything for the right shot😜
It wasn’t a “motorway”. Just a bigger road but not that high speeds and lots of stop signs etc
Hello Jasper how are you doing today? Listen,I have a question for you.I want to order a frame set and a handlebar ,but I don’t know the exact size, could you help me please? Frames:Agile red and black. Handlebar: Zero SL.Thanks everything.
I’m 6.1 means 185cm.without shoes. Thx
Do you have another bike currently? You can compare the stack and reach tables of the frames.
I have a SLC 2 and T1550 in size L and I’m about the same height. So I’m think L
@@jasperverkuijl Hey Jasper,yes I have a Specialized Tarmac size 58. Stem size 120,handlebar size 420.
sounds like a very big hike for you? I find 58 quite big for myself. Also bars can be narrower. 40 would be good. 38 possibly if you’re flexible and want to be aero.
Again, compare the geo tables 👍🏻
Excellent video Jasper. I have 2 sets of Winspace wheels, I needed parts recently, contacted Winspace directly and they sent me a new hub straight away. The Agile is top runner for my next frame
That’s great to hear mate! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 don’t forget that code 👉🏻 cyclingfanatics
🤙🏻
Makes me even happier with my winspace T1550 purchase!
Nice!
Congratulation Jasper new ambasador Winspace
Ive been with Winspace for years. Nothing new 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Height test, he said 550cm, but your wording show is 550mm*
yes its on purpose, that's the correction on what Stephen said. He said 550cm but meant 550mm (55 cm)
Winspace is one of those Chinese brand you can fully trust they are transparent has a very nice costumer service and if you need frame replacement they are willing to replace it asap as long as you described to them how you damage the frame, you just need to be honest with them.
Great to hear your positive thoughts 🤙🏻
Damn, I remember you from that canyon crash video. It's been a long journey
Long time ago!
15:39 what kind of QC is this if even on this unfocused shot you can see that the thickness of the wall is uneven? It's not even round. Top notch PR for selecting a faulty item for promotional video. 👌
Looks fine to me. Maybe you are looking at the edge burr or something.
how do they smoothen the internal frame from having sharp unfinished spikes?
The latex inside makes it super smooth
Why don't you also mention western brand name carbon bikes that fell apart!
Why? That wasn’t the point of this video… I’m not sure what you mean or where you want to go..?
