  • Often times, the warmup is the most boring, canned and robotic portion of the workout. In reality, it is a gateway to exploring the sensory corners of the body, moving joints to activate muscles (rather than the other way around) and preparing the body to better absorb and perform, the primary workout exercises.

    45 minutes warmup? Thats a lot of waste of calories/energy/electrolytes/time. Did you know that Kevin Mayer just shows up before the first event, the 100m, puts on his spikes, and sprints 10.55s ? What do you think about that?
