I heard this song for the first time in a Safeway parking lot a half hour ago. This hunched over 70 year old stoner was blasting it from his car stereo. When the song was over, he said to his wife "let's hear that one again...".

I believe, I reintroduced this song to alot of people; for I have a loud bluetooth in a ghetto ass town in Farmington,nm... I always bair older tunes in public people forgot; then somehow people pickup on that. I do believe in the like water droplet effect, we even went out to Oregon then people started imitating us... I sound like an asshole but every man for themselves... it seems.

When you realise that anything that distracts you from pure reality is a drug, you notice that hardly anybody is sober. Your parents, your boss, your teacher, your doctor, your generals, your head of state, all of them are delusional to some extent.
The fact that things work as well as they do is truly a beautiful thing. This shit could fall apart at any second but it rarely ever does entirely.

Love this song. Not my favorite, but it's actually up there for me.
I don't get Weezer fans. I'm ashamed to be one because they are so unsupportive. Now I'm not going to deny that their best work was in the 90s, but I loved Red and Green, though Hurley and Make Believe were awesome, enjoyed Maladroit and I even think that Raditude was a pretty decent album (especially in terms of experimenting with what they were interested in).

I'm a hardcore Weezer fan and I like this one. It's brilliant. Catchy & upbeat like you said with contrasting lyrics. It's an awesome dynamic. To me this is classic Weezer. This is coming from a guy who kinda hates Make Believe, Hurley, & Raditude.

I really like this video. Anyone who sees it can get there own unique mesage out of it. Whether the drugs are prescription pills or anything else, people need to wake up and be aware of what is going on around them, not let life pass by in a daze.
I've been a Weezer fan since the very beginning, and have all of their albums. I somehow missed this song until I heard it on a rerun of "One Tree Hill", and I had to go dig it out of my collection and find it. It's now one of my favorites.
