I love the way we find the use out of things that were meant for something else and find another purpose for it to that helps us out. Great mind for great ideas. well done.

So true! A lot of stuff we really need to invent - has already been invented! It's sometimes difficult to see it, though - have to let your mind wander and "think outside the box!"

Late to the party... I love this solution, I'm always thinking about power consumption and ways I can function without it. This is perfect thank you from a new sub.

I use a bidet sprayer, 8Lt container, and a pop up tanning tent, total cost, around £30

The bidet sprayer is a genius option to the dishwashing sprayer that I never thought of! Thanks!

I just love my outdoor showers. When I’m in a place that requires a little bit of modesty, I just string my very lightweight shower curtain up between the van doors and ta da, privacy. The ones that are fabric and not PVA or plastic seem to work the best. A couple of magnets and there you go!
Of course it’s better to be miles off down a forest service road with my large, cheap, white mosquito netting thrown over the two open doors to slow down the mozzies, black flies and deer flies from bothering me during my evening shower. It really is awesome to have a good clean up after a dusty day.
Another hack that I used when sailing and living out of my truck was to use 2 - 2 litre pop bottles. I use the ginger ale bottles - their darker green colour warms up nicely in the sun. I use a heated nail to put 5 holes in a couple of bottle caps that I put on before my shower. The pop bottles are light enough and very easy to hold up above my head, they don’t take up much space in my van, they don’t need to be hung from a tree like the sun shower, and when I drop by a gas station or Timmies, I can unobtrusively fill them up with hot water for luxury showers. This is the best life that this 68 year old woman can ask for!

I love the pop bottle idea! Awesome! You're absolutely right about outdoor showers working fine if you rig up a curtain... Once I was heading north into what I knew was going to be many days of cold weather, so I rigged my privacy and did a quick outdoor shower - on the side of the I15!

My dad and uncle had adjacent lots at the beach. My uncle pulled the tank out of a small water heater, painted it black and mounted it at the top of a an outdoor shower he built. All that was required was to hook it up to the line feeding his shower.

Millions of people all over the world have lovely showers using just
1: a bucket or bowel with warm water
2: a jug or large cup or an old plastic bottle with the top cut off.
3: a large bowel or a very small childs padding pool ( to stand in)
Just wash your hair first then go from head to feet.
It works perfectly worldwide... Even inside your bathroom if you want to conserve water usage 💦😇

Yeah, great suggestions. I've taken a lot of bucket baths in my travels around the world and they are perfectly fine! This sprayer wasn't much more costly than a bucket, so I went for it.

Your videos are always entertaining, and most of the time your ideas are great. But this time, I disagree. I think a battery powered camping showerhead provides a much nicer showering experience. Better water flow, no need to pump by hand and the ability to use any readily available container for water. They're easy to recharge via USB. Amazon has several models for $20-40.

This is a great point! I plan to do another round-up video of the low-cost options and will for sure include a battery powered one. Of course, everything has disadvantages and the ones I can see with the battery powered ones are: another battery to tend, more complexity thus more points of failure, and greater water volume usage. However, they look like they are a great option to consider!

Yes, it's one of the most cost effective solutions. You might also want to consider the $5 gardening can that I mention in my $500 Simple, Easy Van Tour video.

Keep it low cost & easy my motto without all of the modern gadgets, what happens to your shower- if you can't charge battery.🤔🤣
