    Again with the epic views! I must be getting used to seeing fat ski's because those 104's looked so skinny on camera lol. That midway rock field was a bit scary for me, those open gaps freak me out lol. If you keep your skis on it's absolutely still pow skiing it's just called pow with features 🙃 Ok tourists don't be alarmed, this is Canada so it's totally normal to see skiers boarders and wild animals randomly pop out of woods on the side of the highway lol. Rock on brother, that one was a workout and all on new skis and boots!

But then they stopped on a slope and he looked across the slope to his buddy and you see how steep it is. These guys are completely fearless. They don't even need a run or a trail. Never too old! But you could opt for a much more mellow approach and zero bushwacking! Ski touring is actually extremely low impact. Cross country is also an amazing option to get back into the mountains too.

    Yeah, Rogers can be really nasty. It definetely needs more snow at the lower sections. We had about 2 meters when we were there. But still the forest can be incredible dense. Have fun and stay safe!

      Glad you're a fan. Honestly I kind of want to get a second set of 114 unleashed and put a kingpin on those. Nice to have a real thick ski and would still be light enough too. Maybe trade for an even lighter binding on the super light unlimited ski. Probably an ATK if I could afford it for the light setup. Maybe in a few years. This is already a big weight upgrade for me.

      Slept like a baby! You're totally right. I've actually only fully broken one pair of skis in the last three years. But I do substantial repairs on all my skis every season. I go through one pair of boots no problem and a ski suit. I always rip through my ski suits but this video makes it clear why...

    If you liked the bushwhacking tho, you definitely should try Gravell Peak when you get home. Absolutely fantastic skiing, but a pretty thorny bushwhack to/from the line to earn it 😃

    • @riseandalpine
      @riseandalpine  Месяц назад

      Dude. You would go bananas in Rogers. There's some lines like Grizzly Couloir that are massive and only like a 3-4 hour approach from the parking lot if you rip it fast. The only problem with you visiting Rogers is you would be so damn excited you wouldn't be able to pick what peak to summit first LOL.
      I'll take a look at Gravell Peak. Might be an adventure to bring Sid along for!
