So glad I have your videos to watch now that the snow is all gone here. Love the chill vibes and scenic views! Hope your channel blows up, your videos are top notch.
Ha ha, here in Australia back in the late 70s early 80s we had a sun smart add campaign called, "Slip Slop Slap" it was an animation with a portly O,zy guy called "Norm", with a catchy tune saying. " Slip on a shirt, Slop on sunscreen and Slap on a hat". Ahh reminiscing 😅.
Wow, awesome skiing down Banana chute and then another rocky/sketchy chute! 👋💪💯 It was a pain watching you ski out via Singing Pass this late in spring. I hope your skis were not badly scratched. Keep up the rad skiing videos coming! 🤩
Man oh man now that is some serious good living right there! Just look at those views with all those blue skies..... I mean who can argue with some hiking boot packing and ski touring with views and spring pow like that? Whoever they are their nuts!! haha Love it buddy! Oh you boys worked up a good sweat on this one so this def calls for a big Triple as a reward. Hard to call it actual food in the US but it sure does taste good especially after a really good day it the mountains. Crap! Now I want a big mac and large fries haha
@@riseandalpine It was DELICIOUS! I should have followed your guys lead with a double though. Did the mac shrink or something because it sure seemed a lot smaller than a couple years ago lol
Another great video James. Even in good conditions Singing pass can be spicy! Your ski bases must be absolutely trashed after that experience? Great hike though
A few racing stripes but honestly not bad. Ski bases are way more robust than people think. I sometimes ski directly on dirt without any damage hahahha. Core shots usually come from those big nasty alpine sharks!
The trail out is more technical and high consequence than any chute….Nice day however to burn off some skin cells! And to make one last grasp at winter….LOL
How many km did you have to hike out that little bit of Singing Pass? I was at K&C last weekend and we went back via Musical Bumps/Oboe/Flute since I heard it was like 8km of hiking haha. We left Saturday but I think it snowed Saturday night.
That is a LOT of heinous bashing to get out of Singing Pass...why not ascend oboe creek and go back into the ski resort and exit from the bottom of Symphony or Burnt Stew?
We didn't think it was going to be that bad. Someone on "south coast touring' said it was skiable all the way down two days before we went. Mountaineers have a weird definition of skiable all the way down hahahha
James: I'm not really a peakbagger Me: my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined I'm used to being the one dude who insists on standing on the summit before I ski down 😅. Skied Tszil on Monday, the duffey still has good snow on northern aspects, 10/10 would recommend before they get too baked.
Rad line and classic Heinous Late Spring ski exit! 😤
So Heinous hahaha. Thanks to the dude who told us it was fully skiable LOL
Wonderful. I love your vibe, your such a cool guy. Thanks for the great vibes instead of some boring other ski video with a bad camera. Thanks man.
Thanks!
Another banger video. Thanks for including the trip through the trees. Really felt like we got the full experience. Oh yeah, AW over MD any day.
Glad you're on team A Dubs hahha
Skin sales will go through the roof.
Great adventure.
Nice video! Thanks for the shout-out!
Thanks for the great books dude!

Thanks dude, So stoked you found me. Lot's more winter out west and some sweet videos coming down the line!
i love how you film it all, even the descent through the trees and streams keep up the amazing work!
Gotta keep the camera rolling!
Gnarly Deproach! Rad adventure
Sweet looking mountain, looks like a great time!
Holy ski out !That was worse than Revelstoke !! Great day. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for coming along!

Thanks for keeping our skin healthy Norm 😂

Ski bases are looking healthier than ever (with a little more character)
Great video and great season (of videos)! Always keeping my eye out for you on the slopes whenever I visit WB :P
Thanks! I'm sure we'll run into each other at some point
Thanks James. Keepin’ me inspired. Tour this weekend will likely be the last of the season. Bonus weekend fit in between bike rides!
Stayin’ spicy!
Glad you're sneaking one last climb in!

Sick adventure dude!! Wow
Thanks for coming along dude!
Duuude this inspired me to go hit a sumenr tour with my buddy. We’re going to baker tomorrow! Love your content brotha 😊
This looked amazing !!
Such a goodie!
Nice line boys 💯💯
Thanks Sid!
an adventure...much better than the resort ones
I like mixing in some Backcountry days, but I'll always prefer the resort. Two complete different sports and skiing is my favourite.
@@riseandalpine If you got the pass ...use it. If you don't well...
This looks absolutly insane
I'm always anxious to see your next video, but this one really got me out of breath. What a journey. This was done in one day ? I'm amaze.
Yup this was a day trip. So beautiful what we have in our backyard.
Hell yeah brother!!! Superb video, cheers from Alberta!!
HELL YA BROTHER!
Great video, bro! Hope you guys were able to get a couple of pints in!
I had to drive home so opted for the root beer... Still hit hard hahaha

Awesome video.
Thanks Brett!
Awesome video! Do you think you’ll go back sometime and do the crazy chutes at the top?
Yep! I'll for sure go back to ski some more Fissile lines!
you the boss !
I might do thistle fir my first backcountry run
It's a reasonable first ever big target. My first backcountry day minus Seymour tours was Mt Pattison hahaha absolutely killed me at the time
@@riseandalpine what run down do you recommend, I’m going w my dad and he’s not super comfortable in exposed terrain anymore
beautiful day! but also appreciate the sweating in goggles and helmet for the content :)
LOL - thanks! It was a sauna in those goggles hahaha. No other way to keep the helmet on my head with the camera weight
Goat Trail !
The trail out is more technical and high consequence than any chute….Nice day however to burn off some skin cells! And to make one last grasp at winter….LOL
Singing pass was as technical as it gets hahaha
swweet!! springtime skimo in effect! are you gonna give a review and/or upgrade to an X4?
Yup - gotta test it out first and still waiting for it to come in the mail
Super, great! Are your skis still good after your run down? 😬
Yup - skis are totally fine!
sweet
Bluebird!
Your singing pass descent is Subalpinism approved.
Channeled my inner Subalpinism
@@riseandalpine Hell yeah haha
😂 I don’t know what to think! You’re a mad man! That run getting down from your back country excursion was sketchy as shit!
The exit was questionable hahaha

I think it took us about an hour and a half total (skiing and walking time)... Usually it's under 20 minutes LOL. Hiking out was a good call
Three McDoubles 🍔 loaded with fries! 🍟 ….woah!
Insane right!
best way possible to spend 32 minutes
Appreciate that brother
Hi Jackson @3:20
Hello Jackson :)
are you going to try to mountainbike more this summer?
Probably not. Maybe one or two gravel rides but ill just ski all summer
@@riseandalpine frig yea, looking forwards to it
Nice 😊 What skis and bindings are you using for touring?
Currently the Nordica unleashed 108's or 114's and Duke PT 16 bindings
Is dylan secretly the voice of Wayne on LetterKenny?
hahahah - can't say.....
No one gonna say anything ab the guy who spent 2 nights out there?!
Legend!
25:15 .... that, was pretty marginal... don't think you would have liked that shortcut down there James...
Would have opted for the teleportation option to the village if I could have hahhaha

I guess I'm a skier first, climber second hahaha. Thanks for the intel. Maybe I'll check out the Duffey this week
