Yeha that’s coo that you stay in that spot, if you know snoqualmie you know where that chalet is. Anyways, I’ve stumbled across your channel and appreciate it! I grew up riding both snoq and crystal and the hate snoq gets at Crystal is real, the summit will always have a special place in my heart, and I’ve hardly toured (split board) there, mostly in bounds. the snow has been so great lately, thanks for sharing! I need to get out on my split
I’ve hiked up to snow lake quite a few times in the early spring, including along the boot pack that goes up past source lake, but I can’t figure out where in the valley you were skiing for the life of me You wouldn’t happen to have a gpx or similar file would you?
Also, does this area get enough compaction from skier activity that you don’t mind going out even on an avy risk 2 day? I know some of the stuff at the end of the valley (pineapple pass, chair peak, bryant peak) get above 30 degrees.
I just rent the basement apartment. Found it on FB marketplace! Got very very lucky. The house was built in the 50's by an old ski patroller. Ski resort could not pay him one year so they gave him this land on the ski hill. I don't work at the ski resort. left my previous office job that was in person in Seattle to start a company last year. So doing all my work online. We have Starlink so it works pretty good.
@@Hyakfm Awesome that's so cool. Very inspiring. I am 24 and studying to be an AWS developer in order to have a future like that. Waking up to the slopes every day is a dream. Ty!!
@@chrisheth3341 Yeah I'd recommend picking up a guide book of the area and getting out with low risk terrain and sight seeing. Once you learn all the features of the valley there is pretty much always something good to find. However, The 'shelfy' nature of the area does mean that on low vis days it can be easy to get under a slide path without realizing it.
@ appreciate the info. Any guide books you’d recommend? I’ve done lots of hiking in the area and some snow shoeing, but definitely do not know the ins and outs of the terrain.
The run down was so beautiful 🎉
AMAZING FOOTAGE‼️What a great day in the back country.

The alpental backcountry is awesome! If it started a 1000’ higher it would be world class. I grew up skiing Crystal too so I hear ya!
Perhaps a little dehydrated @5:11? Ha ha. Hey thanks for sharing - awesome runs!
Awesome video dude, i liked the vlogging style this time
Wow, that is amazing!
Great content. Thx for sharing!
Great video and dope spot
The exit trail still uphill in both directions - even after a good dumping! 😂

How did you get that house? Do you live there full time? For work? I am so curious, ty. That is my dream living situation.

"Very, very, nice", said a woman in the crowd, as the man fell from the sky.
You just randomly live in a little cottage on Snoqualmie? That's sick.
@@bobsmith6370 someone has got to do it
No. stop. Do not let people know this place exists and gets snow like this lol
Glad you had a sick day

Sup dude
Is this the backside of Alpental after that snow storm we just had Friday/Sat?
The skiing is above Source Lake, so at the end of the Alpental valley.
@ awesome. Thank you for the info. I’m trying to get into split boarding and this looks just like the kind of terrain I’m after.

@@chrisheth3341 Not any in particular, I know the most recent versions will have slightly different approach beta than older versions (in some cases).
